Chapter 03

"Where are you going?" Jimin asks as soon as he saw his niece walking down with her suitcase. He got a break for two days from his doctor because of his depression. The doctor suggests that he should take a break for a day or more. Because of his business can't be postponed for a long time, so he only took two days. He wants to spend some time with his niece but he was surprised when he saw her with the suitcase.

"I'll be staying at the dorm start from today." Eunji said without looking at him while putting on shoes.

"Why? Aren't this is your home?" Jimin said nicely.

"It is? It doesn't look like that to me. I feel like I was staying at the hotel. It's too quiet to call this a home. Don't you think so, uncle?" Eunji said ready to leave the house.

Jimin didn't say anything. He silently watching at the girl walking out of the gate. Looking at her figure slowly disappears at the corner, make him so hurt. He feels like he was failed to raise her as his promise to his stepsister.

Eunji stops after a few steps away from the corner. She wishes that her uncle would stop her but he didn't.

"Selfish. Idiot. Jerk!" She shouts while kicking the some in front of her feet. Unfortunately, it fell on someone's head.

"Who did it!?" Eunji wanted to hide from the person but sadly there are no available places to hide. The person turned out to be her new classmate.

"Oh? Just a little bunny with a... Suitcase? Are you running from home or what?" Suzy asked when she notices the suitcase.

"None of your business." Eunji said drags the suitcase to leave the place. If she could, she wants to go far from the city and never want to see him again.

"Anyway, do you know this address?" Suzy said stopping Eunji for a moment. Eunji looks at the girl and took the small paper in her hand.
"Well, I was confused since the houses around here are the same." Suzy said while looking around.

"You got the address, you know." Eunji annoyingly said.

"I forgot the house number."

"What is the name of the owner?"

"Bae Ji-"

"Oh, that stingy ahjussi is your brother. At least I don't have to see him again since I'm staying in the dorm. His house is there." She said interrupted the girl when heard the first name of the person.

"Thank you. By the way, you're right. He is very stingy." Suzy said. Eunji didn't reply to her and just walk away.

"So tired." Eunji said as soon as she got her room. Her roommate came with two mugs in her hand. She places one on the table next to Eunji's bed.

"Why did you suddenly want to stay here? I thought you say you will stay or your parent's house." Haemi said while sitting on Eunji's bed.

"Well just say that I want to experience a new life without any control from my uncle." Eunji said remember how Jimin always leaves her alone in the big house.

"Really? But... He doesn't look like a strict person. He also good looking." Haemi said grinning widely. Eunji stares at her roommate annoyingly.

"Seriously? I don't think like that. Tae is more good looking than him. I don't know why everyone thinks that my uncle more attractive?" She said. The truth is she hates when the girl s at her college adores her uncle so much.

"Are you serious, Eunji? He is truly a husband material."

"Oh my God! Your imagination is too much." Eunji groans annoyingly at her roommate.
"Get off my bed. I want to sleep." She added and pull the blanket.

"You just jealous of him, don't you? Yeah, because you can't marry him." Haemi said while leaving the room.

"What? Marry him? Why can't? He is my mom's stepbrother. Of course, we can but only if I love him that way. But the reality is not like that. It's true that I love him but it just loves like niece and uncle. Nothing more." Eunji said.

"You can say whatever you want, Eunji. But what I can see right now is not like that. I had a boyfriend before and I know exactly what is the 'symptoms' are."

"Go away with your science theory, future doctor. I'm tired." Eunji said ignores the girl. Haemi looks at her again before going out. But she stops at the door frame.

"You can lie to me and the other people but you can't lie to yourself. Staying apart like this won't solve the problem. You will hurt yourself and him too. Remember, he is older than us and more matured. His thinking is different from ours. Don't regret it soon." Haemi said and slowly closing the door.

What had Haemi said makes her sat up the bed and think about it again. It's true. She tries to deny the fact that she already falls for him but his attitude makes her really mad. She did everything to get his attention but he always ignored it. When she makes trouble at college, he only sends his assistant to handle it.

"Why would I regret? That was his loss anyway." She said and back to sleep.
