Chapter 15

Taehyung watch at his best friend who is smiling happily while humming a song. He came to visit her since he promises her to have lunch together.

"You seem happy lately. What's happen?" He asks the girl with curiosity. Eunji looked up at him with a bright smile.

"Well, the good news is... Uncle is back. We are getting more and more like family now." She said still imagine how much they spend time together those weeks. Taehyung already gives up to win his heart. Deep inside he knows that he won't have a chance to get her.

"Good to see you back again. Honestly, I was worried that you will commit suicide." He said acting as she will give up her life because of love.

"You think I'm stupid to do that? But, do you know what? He actually a romantic guy. He wishes me a good night before sleep. Call me every morning and at night. Talking all night on the phone. He is so sweet." Taehyung choked at her statement. Then it hits him. Something was fishy with her happiness.

"Don't tell me that you two... Together?" He suddenly said. But unexpectedly she smiles and nodded. His eyes widen to the surprising news.

"He proposed to me to be his girlfriend two days ago. And... I agree." She said showing the ring on her finger.
"He also tells me a lot about what he did after he left the house. I feel bad for what I did to him. And... Surprisingly, why didn't you tell me he stays with your cousin?" She suddenly glares at him.

"I almost to tell you but why should I? To make you feel bad more? Anyway, since you both together now. Why don't you just let him stay with you? Who knows that you really 'need' each other?" He said smirking at her. Eunji gasped to hear that coming from him.

"You! How could you say that in front of me? Its... Little awkward. I mean... You're a guy. It might be frustrating for you since you don't have a girlfriend." She said looking at not blushing upon the sudden topic. But she didn't deny that she also has the same thoughts to have a family with Jimin.

"Don't worry about me. Outs there, a lot of girls who want to have a night with me." He said that it's was nothing matter to him. Eunji just scoffed at his statement since she knows him well that he does not type of man that would play with girl's heart.

"Yeah, right. Since you are still single, how about you try to get know with Shin Hee. She is not bad for you. Her family is good. She got wife materials and match with you too. Husband materials. I'm also happy if you both can be together." She said looking at him.

'Shin Hee? Not bad. Pretty, lovely, caring, hot and sexy. Should I? But... Will she- wait! Why is Eunji suddenly talk about her? Is she...'

"Wait a minute, did you already plan to matchmaker me and Shin Hee? Since when?" He asked. Eunji sigh relief to hear that. She thought she has exposed the secrets.

"Well, since you both look really perfect for each other. You both exactly the same. Overprotective to me. She always cares about my health not to mention always call me every time to make sure I eat well and take meds. While you always here with foods and remind me to eat more and more." She said looking at the table with a lot of papers.

"That is because you are my best friend." He responds.

"That's it. The same answer I got from Shin Hee. Maybe you both are really meant for each other."

"Not so fast. I still need to move on." He said. With his tone, she knows it's was hard for him to get over it.

"Tae. Our friendship is more important than everything. You just like a brother to me. Your family also nice to me and I won't forget that."

"Yeah, I know." He said. He admits that was hurt him but it doesn't matter if she is happy. Her happiness is his priorities. With who she will be with, he is happy. Seeing she was smiling again make him sigh relief.

"Tae. Thank you so much for being with me.  You always be next to me no matter if I'm sad or happy. I owed you so much." Eunji said while looking at him. Taehyung feels so weird to hear that. Somehow, he was glad to see her smile.

"Oh come on. Don't be so dramatic here. You say that because you want me to consider what you said just now, I am right?" He added. Eunji grinned wider when he got her.

"Yes! I don't want to force you to accept her but I really do appreciate if you can be with her. Seriously." Eunji said. Taehyung sigh and leans against the couch. Eunji came to join him to have lunch together.

After lunch, Taehyung thoughts a lot of what Eunji said. He didn't dislike Shin Hee but he just didn't know how to talk to her. Every time he bumped into her, she always avoids him.
