Chapter 12

'Where am I? Why can't lift my hand? Am I dying?' She thought while still unconsciously on the hospital bed.

"How can this happen to her?" Taehyung asks the secretary. Ga In sigh and look at the girl.

"I don't know. She looks so pale when came to the company this morning. I ask her to take a break for a day but she refused to. She said that the meeting is important for the company." Ga In said explains the situation at the company to Taehyung.

"What's the doctor said?"

"Less nutrition. She maybe didn't eat well lately. She looks so skinny. I always ask her to join us at the canteen but she didn't want to. She always goes home late. Sometimes, I saw her sleeping on the couch in her office." Ga In said. Taehyung sat on the edge of the bed while holding Eunji's hand.

"Who is taking of her here?" Taehyung suddenly said. Ga In just stay silent and it makes Taehyung turn to her.
"I asking you."

"Actually he asks me to not tell anyone but since you are her best friend. He doesn't want to make it complicated, he said." Ga In said. Taehyung frowned upon her statement. He was curious about the guy. It obviously not Jimin. The only one that would make judgment doing so is her ex-boyfriend.

"Sung Woon?" He asks. He looks again at Eunji again.
"At least, he was here to look at her. After what happened between them, he still cares about her." He added.

"I don't want to rude but when he was here that day, I accidentally heard that he wants to get back again. He regrets to listen to his ex-girlfriend to break up with Miss Eunji." Ga In said. Taehyung closes his eyes with heavy feelings.

'Why now? Why did he want to get back again? I was waiting for years to get this chance to win her heart and he just came back like that. Why Sung Woon?'

Ga In just watching at the boy. She could see through him. He was really in love Eunji but the girl doesn't seem to have any feeling to him.

"I can't say anything about that. That was her own life. She has the right to choose what is right and what is wrong. Perhaps, this will make her forget about the past." He said getting up from the bed.

Eunji was still sleeping on the bed. Every word coming from them, she could hear it clearly.

'Tae, please don't go. I need you beside me. I don't have anyone else to depend on.' She really wants to cry out of her way to make him there but she can't. Her body is so weak but she tried to get up from sleep.

"T-Tae." Her voice softly caught their attention. She slowly opens her eyes and looks at her best friend. Taehyung feels glad to hear her voice after three days she was sleeping.

"Thank God. How are you now? Do you need anything? Food? Water? Or anything else?" He said concerned.

"Wa-water." She said slowly while Taehyung helping her to sit properly. Ga In went to get the doctor.

"Why are you doing this, Eunji? It's not good for your health." Taehyung said while helping her feed the water.
"Do you know how worried I was when Ga In noona call me telling me that you got in the hospital." He said a bit mad but still concerned about her.

"It's just... I got a lot of work to do." She claimed with a little smile. But Taehyung didn't buy with her excuses. He sighs and put the glass back on the table next to the bed.

"You can lie to anyone but not me. Eunji, I have found him but he doesn't want to come back here. Just forget about him, okay?" He said smiling while holding her hand. She just looks down on her lap. The doctor came to check up on her.

"I'll get some foods for you." Taehyung said after the doctor explains everything to them. Ga In as on the chair next to her after Taehyung left.

"How is the company?" Eunji asks.

"Everything is fine. They all worried about you when saw you faint in the meeting room. We also worried." She said. Eunji just smiled.

"Why? Aren't I was mean to them? Why would they worry about me? They should happy to me not around."

"Miss. They actually-" Before she could finish someone enter the room. Eunji looks at the person who is standing there with flowers and fruits in their hand.

"I'll go to Taehyung." Ga In said leaving them together.

"How are you doing?" He asks while walking into the room and place the flowers and fruits on the table.

"Not dying yet. Why are you here? Why not with your girlfriend?" She said looking away from him.

"Eunji. I know I make mistakes. It's was all her doing. She badmouths about you cheating behind me. Please give another chance."

"I can forgive you but to get back again, I don't think so." She said.

"At least we can be friends, right?"

"I don't know."

"Eunji, please."

"Please, Sung Woon. I just woke up. Don't make me hate you more than now." She said and laying down. Sung Woon didn't say anything and just sit there watching at her. He knows that it was all his fault to listen to his ex-girlfriend.

"Tomorrow I'll come again. Get well soon, Eunji. Bye." He said before leaving the ward. Soon later Taehyung enters the ward without Ga In since she has important things to do at the company.

"Don't you have work to do, Tae? You have been here since this morning." Eunji suddenly spoke.

"No need to worry about me. My dad asks me to look after you. Yesterday, he came to visit you. He also meets with the doctor. He really worried about you. So, this whole week I will be with you. You can't say no." He said smiling wide while looking at her lovely.
