***Caroline's Point of View***

What kind of foretelling is this? It doesn't even rhyme. Foretelling's are supposed to rhyme aren't they? This whole thing sound pretty weird to me. "They don't have to rhyme, Caroline." My father sighed. "I'm just saying it doesn't sound very foretelling like to me." I defended, causing William to snort and Elizabeth to slap his chest. "Can we please be serious? This is important and we don't have much time left." Christine snapped. "Yes by all means just walk back into my life and boss me around." I hissed at her while rolling my eyes. How dare she think she can just walk up in here and boss me around? "For your information, I am in charge here. Dad left Landon and I in charge while he was gone looking for you. Landon is gone and I know dad is back but, in all honesty I planned this war. I am the one who has these stupid gifts so I'm just going to be honest. I think I need to stay in charge." I announced to the stunned silent group. I take in the expressions of the people around me and am kind of surprised. Christine looks shocked and her mate looks impressed. William is smiling smugly for some reason and Elizabeth looks flushed. I'm intrigued in their contrasting faces. I will investigate that later. Lastly I look at my dad. I was afraid he would be furious, but instead I am met with a mixture of proud fullness and regret.

"Sweet heart, I am sorry for not telling you about the prophecy. I knew that one day you would reach the age where you would take over. The only way we will win is you lead us. I am just sad to see my little girl not so little in more." He explains. I was still angry with him, but that didn't matter. I loved him. I stepped towards him and he folded his arms around me. "I love you daddy." I say into his chest. "I love you too sweetie." He says while dropping a soft kiss onto the top of my head. I let him hold me for a few more seconds before pulling away and going back to leader mode.

"Ok." I start turning to Christine's mate, whose name I still didn't know. "Sorry, but what is your name again?" I ask sheepishly. He smiles unoffended. "I'm Kale." He says kindly. "Right Kale, ok so how many wolves did you bring with you?" I ask already planning on how to incorporate them into my war strategy. "I have brought with me one hundred warriors plus their mates. The mates cannot shift, but they do have werewolf trait such as, strength, speed, smell and sight." He informed me. I nod in acknowledgement. "Ok will the mates want to be together or can we separate them while fighting?" I asked not wanting to be a total dictator. "Whatever you need from us we will do." He affirmed. "Perfect. Ok so since no one here besides William, Elizabeth and I know the plan I will just walk through--" I was cut off by no other then Christine. "Wait! We haven't finished discussing the foretelling." She exclaimed. I held in the snappy comment I so wanted to share and just did a hand gesture telling her to proceed.

"First off you do not have to die for our side to win." She said simply. I felt like the wind was knocked out of me when she said those words. I'm going to live? I can live my life with Lan-No I can't because I sent him away. "I sent them away for nothing?" I whimpered. "You acted rashly and stupidly." Christine explained simply. Her aloof tone was getting on my last nerve. I was told I was going to have to die to save our people I was trying to save them from pain. "Stop acting like none of these matters. I erased us all from Allison and Landon's minds. They have no idea who we are. So tell me how I am going to do as this foretelling says and rule with him by my side!" I yell shaking slightly from my emotions. I saw anger flash in her eyes. "It's not my fault you messed up your role Caroline!" she snapped. She just messed up.

I felt wind snapping at my body and my hair is whipping in random directions. Papers from inside the tent were flying around. I only focused on my good for nothing supposed mother who couldn't even stick around long enough to tell me the foretelling. "You were the one who was supposed to tell me the story!" My voice boomed like in the field before. "You were the one who messed up. You are the coward here. I did what I thought was best for the people I loved, but you, you just ran away for your own self!" I finished with a roar. I felt a faint heat starting at my feet rising up my body. It wasn't the fire though this was something else. I had no idea what it was, but it was something I've never felt before. I could no longer see anyone else in the tent with me all I could focus on was the heat that was now reaching my back. The heat became intense and I let out a blood curdling scream when it felt like it was clawing at my back. I felt a weight fall onto my shoulder blades and then the pain was gone. I fell to my knees still feeling the weight.
