After a few seconds, the person takes their finger away from my face and moves so I can sit up. Declan turns on a small lamp and we're met with a girl our age with platinum blonde hair and, well, purple eyes. "Who are you?" I ask.

The girl smirks and laughs before resting her head on her hand. "Hm, I thought Holly would've mentioned me, she seemed all excited about my purple eyes, she said she'd tell you right away. But it seems she's a bit... busy with her boyfriend over there." She points to where Noah and Holly are sleeping.

"Noah isn't her boyfriend, we heard a noise earlier and it scared her. Those two were friends before the rest of us so they're a lot closer." Declan explained.

"Ah, that noise was me," she says, looking to Declan and then back at me, "it was pretty dark, I didn't think I'd run in to a stand full of iron rods."

"Can you answer our question? Because if you don't, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave." I say, sitting up straight and glaring at her.

"Feisty," she laughs, "my names Adelaida."

"How do you even pronounce that?" Declan asks, and I elbow him.

"Add-a-lay-da" she smirks.

"Do you have a sort form?" I ask.

"Delia's fine."

"So what exactly are you doing here, and how do you know Holly?" I ask, fixing the blanket around my shoulders.

"Well, you see, I'm also a child of Aphrodite, so I'm Holly's sister. And I'm here because I heard of you guys being in the prophecy. Plus when I saw you when Hermes called everyone out of the tents, you peaked my interest." Adelaida said, crossing her legs.

"You decided to show up at night when it's dark instead of during the day like a normal person?" Declan asks.

"It took me a while to get here, Death Boy. I can't shadow travel like you can."

"How'd you know he was a Hades kid?" I ask.

"The black hair, dark clothes, and cold voice gives it all away. Plus I saw you with only a couple siblings at the Parthenon. Hades doesn't have many kids, y'know." She explains.

"Okay well, we need to get back to sleep because we have to leave soon. We wanted to leave as early as possible so we had lots of travel time." I say, laying back down and turning off the lights.

Declan slides back into his bed and turns himself away from us. "There's a bean bag in the corner that you can sleep on if you're staying. If not, you can show yourself out."

"I think I'm good sleeping here," Adelaida says as she picks up the blanket beside me. "You're gonna sleep in my bed? Uhm, why not just the bean bag? It's pretty comfortable and-" she cuts me off by pressing her finger to my lips again.

"I'm sleeping here, sweetheart. Don't want any monsters getting me, since I am joining you on your quest." she smirks and lays down, facing away from me.
