"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!"
they all look at me with bright smiles.
"I FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYS!" i stand up and hug them all at once.
"oh my god we're seeing them for the second time!!" i say at the sudden realization.
leah nods.
"oh my god the concert is in 3 days! i don't even have a outfit planned! what about a hotel! how are we gonna get-" i try to ramble but nailah cuts me off.
"we already have a hotel and we are driving (nailah's older brother) xavier's car to la." leah says with a smile.
the bell rings indicating that it's time for class and i groan.
"let's get today over with so we can go out to eat after school." mark tells us.
"fine." leah groans.
~time skip~
the last bell of school rings and i almost let out a relived sigh.
i quickly pack up my stuff and practically run out of the classroom.
once i get to my locker i put in my books and pull out my backpack.
before i can shut my locker nailah does it for me.
"where does the birthday girl want to eat?" she asks as we both start to walk out of school.
"umm i'm fine with chick-fil-a but we have to go shopping today. i need my ateez outfit!!" i tell her while readjusting my backpack.
nailah sighs. "you are so simple and happy jaylani."
"thank you?"
she just laughs and i laugh with her.
we make it to the exit and we see mark, johnny, and leah waiting for us.
"i call shotgun!!!" is the first thing i say and mark whines.
"wh-" he starts to talk but i cut him off.
"shhhhh its my birthday mOrk." i say and run to johnny's car.
we all get into his car and johnny drives out of the school parking lot.
"what does the birthday girl want for food?"
"chick-fil-a. i have been deprived from it for toooooooo long." i exaggerate and i can see leah roll her eyes playfully in the back seat.
"we need to take a stop at the mall too." nailah butts in and i nod my head.
"ou the malll." leah says with slight sing song tone.
mark groans and nailah glares at her soulmate.
"okay okay i'm sorry for being like that." he pouts and nailah immediately kisses his pout.
he breaks out into a smile and i smile in the same way.
i love seeing my friends happy and in love.
it made me realize i didn't see anyone with a yellow mark at school.
