Time Waits For No One Chapter 8;

Michael had finally finished moving into his new mansion in Los

Olivios, California. Calling his bestfriend Nikole, he had invited her

over for a small house warming party for the two of them before he

invited his family and other friends over. He waited patiently as he

listened to her phone ring several times before she finally answered.

“Hello?” she asked breathlessly, as she answered her phone. “Nikki?”

Michael asked softly as he listened carefully. “Are you busy?” he

asked with a disappointed tone while rubbing his forehead shaking his

head. “Oh no I’m not busy Mikey sorry I took so long to answer I was

doing yoga out on the balcony and I didn’t hear the phone in time! I

am so sorry” she said sweetly still breathing heavily, “So why are you

breathing like that? I’m sure yoga can’t be that intense” he said back

to her as he awaited her next reply. “Michael I had to run to the

phone, I said I was sorry, what’s wrong?” she asked as her heart

you at?” she asked laying on her couch playing with her hair listening

to his sweet voice swim through the phone. “I’ll call you later with

those details, love you more” he said hanging up before Nikole could

say anything back to him. “UGH I HATE IT WHEN YOU DO THAT” she shouted

at the phone at Michael hanging up before she could say anything else.

She sighed and thought what he would want to do tonight and why he may

have wanted to hang out and why she wasn’t supposed to dress up,

shrugging her shoulders she went to finish her yoga stretches then

rolled up her yoga mat and went for a meeting with her shower. Once

she was finished she looked at the clock she still had over 3 hours

before she was due to go see Michael. “I should take a nap I’m kind of

tired” she complained and retired to her bedroom, turning on a movie

she laid across her bed with a pillow and before long she had fallen

asleep. Nikole’s phone rang, slowly opening her eyes she rubbed them

with the back of her hand, then looked at the clock, “6:30 PM sheesh I
