1 year into training
Naofumi has focused only on controlling magical essence and his control has only gotten better and better has time went on. He became so good in fact that instead of calling upon a spell, (he hasn't learned any yet because he just trains his body and magical control) like every mage in the world. He on the other hand concentrates magical essence into a form. Which had never been done before. This makes what ever form he makes the magical essence into very strong. This form of magic manipulation takes alot of energy and concentration to do and is the most powerful type of energy. It is very hard to use in battle do the the extreme amount of concentration needed to form anything. Though it takes alot of magical essence or mana to form these magical structures, it also takes insane magical control.
1 years 6 months into training
Naofumi has absolute control over his mana and can create structures made of pure mana at will and in combat, he has also figured at how to manipulate magic around him to a very low degree. All mages use the magical essence inside them to cast spells. The more you do this the bigger that essence become. Naofumi has massive magical reserves die tk manipulating pure magical essence
Now since all mages use the mana from within them they never look at the mana the world has. It took Naofumi a very long time to sense this , once he figured at what to look for the amount of magical essence around everyone at all times, just naturally is intoxicating. He has figured out how to harness this to a degree though it takes long hours of pure concentration and meditation to even grasp at it.
2 years year of training
Naofumi has now got a grasp on senjutsu (from naruto, it is that thing where he grasps energy from around him) and can use it in battle to a degree but it is very hard. He has also started working on hexer, and to normal standards is a master. But to Naofumi is just a novice. Naofumi thinks that a master in a magic school is someone who knows almost everything there is about that subject of magic, and has already started making his own spells. Naofumi has found the art of illusion especially interesting in hexer and has heard of a artifact call the all seeing eyes (rinsharigan from naruto) that help in illusion.
2 years 6 months years of training
Naofumi has become a master at both sexes and senjutsu. He is also almost a master in light magic due to already mastering one his manipulation and understanding of magic fluctuation made holy magic alot easier to comprehend and study. He has also gotten especially good at two main subjects of hexer, through being good in all of them specializes in Genjutsu (art of illusion from naruto) and Fuinjutsu (art of sealing also from naruto). He has also gotten really good at controlling raw mana and create weapons almost instantaneous, these weapons don't violate the no use of weapons restriction made by the shield because its magic. He has gotten really good at using the scythe and created his own style of fighting called the fortress which involves insane precision, and speed so nothing can get close to you. He doesn't have to worry about hitting hard because since it's pure mana it hits very hard with little to no effort. This makes it where he can focus on the speed and accuracy of his style instead of worrying about dealing damage with strength and muscle.
3 years of training
Naofumi has become a master of all the magic that the vast library has to offer. Becoming very good at other forms of magic to. (Anyone can due any type of magic except for a few like hexes and holy magic. It's just if you dont have an affinity for it it is extremely difficult) Due to his insane magic manipulation he very easily is capable of learning from other schools of magic very efficiently. And knows alot about ice, and earth magic. To his standards he his adept at both ice and earth. But to normal standards he is far beyond that of a master. He has also become a master in his standards at defence magic and is level 247 due to killing monsters.
He is also very physically built due to insane exercise. He has a slender woman like biuld, but don't let that fool you he has great strength and speed.

(Also side your only should be able to get to level 100 but due to some of the gear he's got, the system is a little broken and doesnt know what to do once it gets to a certain point so that's why it says error. Only goes up to 100k in skills and that shouldn't be possible in the story but that's like the max it says, 50k is the limit but that takes long time investment into one skill and only one skill but Naofumi is what you would call a prodigy with alot of overpowered boosts due to gear and enchanments)
