13. Secrets

Rye- Ellie, I..., I saw something someone posted about me earlier and it really got to me.

Ellie- oh rye, come here

I gave him a hug, it was long and warm

Ellie- it will be okay, you just need to ignore them, if you need me I'm only a few minutes away. You know that.

Rye- thank you Ellie, that means a lot,

Ellie- i better go back, they're probably going to wonder where I am. Your doing a vlog in a bit.

Rye- you go I'll be down in a second

Ellie- okay, see you in a bit

I walked away, I knew that wasn't the reason, I think I knew the reason but I didn't want to say anything.

Ryes PoV

I wanted to tell her, I almost did, but I couldn't, I couldn't find the words to tell her, what was I meant to say? I really like you and I want you. No. We only just met. Maybe soon but not yet, it's too early, I just have to make sure of one thing. That Brooklyn and her don't get too close. I couldn't bare to see her together with my best friend, especially as I like her this much. But that's almost impossible as she is friends with mostly boys. I needed a few minutes to think and cool down, after I headed downstairs, almost forgetting what happened.

Ellie's PoV
*later*
It's 8pm, it's dark outside, but I wanted to go for a run.
I was in the living room with Andy. While the others were somewhere else
Ellie- hey fovvs, who in this house likes to run?

Andy- Brooklyn likes to run, so does Robbie. They run the most in the house

Ellie- oh should I ask if they want to run with me, I feel like exploring some more

Andy- I think Robbie might be editing but Brooklyn will definitely be up for it

Ellie- oh okay thank you I'll go ask.

Andy- hey, just before you go, I wanted to tell you that rye, is feeling a bit.. overprotective of you.

Ellie- I kind of guessed, he told me earlier that he saw something on social media that upset him but I knew it wasn't the real reason

Andy- he's not a very good liar

Ellie- he isn't

We both chuckled, then I head upstairs.

I knocked on brooks door, he said I could come in so I did, he was on his bed on his phone

Brooklyn- hey

Ellie- hey I was wondering if you wanted to go for a run? If your up for it

Brooklyn- yeah, I need to get out *giggled*

Ellie- I need to go to mine to get changed but should I wait for you downstairs?

Brooklyn- yeah can do, I'll literally be so fast that that by the time you get to the bottom of the stairs I'll be there

Ellie- *giggles* okay, see you in like 30 seconds, oh and don't tell rye that we're going out

Brooklyn- alrighty

I headed out, shutting the door behind me, and he was right, by the time I was downstairs he came down. We headed to my house, we went in and I showed Brooklyn around, then I went to my room, put my hair in a ponytail, and put on my gym outfit.

Then we went downstairs and we started to run. We ran for about and hour, talking most of the way, once we got back to the boys house, we were socked, it started to rain as soon as we left my house.

Brooklyn- I'm going to head in the shower

Ellie- okay, thank you for coming, ill probably be gone by the time your out

Brooklyn- i'm always up fro a run

he came over and gave me a quick hug

Brooklyn- see you later

Ellie- bye

He headed upstairs while I went to the pool. I saw rye in there doing laps. I sat at the edge.

Ellie- hey

Rye swam towards me,

Rye- hey how was your run?

Ellie- good, bit wet outside though

Rye- just a bit

Ellie- I should head home soon.

Rye made a sad face at me. Then he got out the pool. As he got out the water was dripping from his hair and I must say he looked amazing. He offered his hand to me. I took it and he helped me up. We made eye contact. And before I knew it, his lips were on mine...

Hey guys I hope your enjoying 'choices!' I just want to say that the next chapters aren't my best and they won't be as good at the last chapters/ future chapters (because I want to get somewhere in the story). There will be chapters like that where they're not as good but I hope you like them anyway (only because I want to get somewhere in the story😋)
