it was going to take around an hour to get back home. half way there we stopped at a service station, we got some food and then were back on our way. we listened to our favourite music the whole way there.
we finally got home, it took longer because of lots of traffic, i drove up the driveway and looked at Brooklyn, i knew he was feeling a bit guilty that he just left without telling anyone, we parked up and i held his hand, he took a deep breath and kissed my cheek
Ellie- its going to be okay
he looked at me and smiled, then he got out the car and rung the doorbell.
someone opened the door, i couldn't see who as i was still in the car. but i got out the car soon after and headed to the door, everyone was there hugging brook. Andy and rye came to hug me, i got quite emotional.
once we got our things out of the car, and had a big catch up and conversation with the others, Brooklyn was planning on taking me on a date. So I headed upstairs to the bedroom
Brooklyn- stay in here until i'm done okay?
Ellie- okay
Brooklyn- also put these on
he handed me a hoodie and leggings and then left, shutting the door behind him.
after 15 minutes he came back in. he held out his hand and led me to the car outside. he never told me where we were going. eventually we stopped, we were on a hill, overlooking central London with the sunset behind.
Ellie- brooky what are we doing?
Brooklyn got out the car and walked over to my side and opened the door, he once again held my hand and led me to the boot of the car, he opened it and there was blankets, food, pillows and fairy lights. music started playing
Brooklyn- we are going to watch the sunset together
Ellie- i love it
i kissed him and then sat down. we had a talk together, it was the most beautiful thing ever. the song 'perfect' started playing. as we were cuddling, Brooklyn started softly singing it while playing with my hair, i couldn't help but cry a little, then Brooklyn sat up, he pulled me up and faced me holding both my hands.
Brooklyn- i was going to ask you this earlier but felt like it wasn't the right time. but Ellie Chapman, do you want to be my girlfriend?
Ellie- yes, of course i do
i kissed him and then gave him a long hug. the bridge of the song started playing and it really got me thinking about our future together.
