34. Decorating

The next morning, when I woke up, I had a rush of excitement. For a split second I thought rye was hugging me because of the hoodie. But he wasn't which I was a little sad about. I got out of bed and got changed into some leggings and a top. I put my hair into a messy bun and then headed downstairs. After I ate breakfast I started cooking some food for the party.
Once I'd finished all the cooking of the hot food. I covered them up. The doorbell rung, I went to the door and opened it.

Ellie- hey

All the boys were at the door. They said hello back and came inside. We headed to the living room

Ellie- so, I've had a list of jobs that need doing. I apologise in advance if I'm bossy *laughs*. This needs to be perfect

Andy- just tell us what we need to do boss

I rolled my eyes and laughed at the word 'boss'.

Ellie- Okay well, let's start with banners and balloons, sonny and jack? You okay with that?

Jack- yeah

Sonny- that's fine with me

Ellie- rye and Brooklyn could you move some furniture and set up some things like the table?

Rye- yeah that's cool

Brooklyn- yeah sure

Ellie- and Andy you can help me I'm the kitchen

Andy- yeah I'm fine with that. Let's get started then

Ellie- jack and sonny, the banners and balloons are in that bag there, there should be someone coming in like an hour with helium balloons that I've ordered, there is a pump cause there is a lot of balloons and I don't want you running out of breath *chuckles*

Sonny- *laughs* alright, come on jack let's get started

Ellie- the TV remote is there so feel free to listen to music or something

Jack- thanks

Ellie- okay rye and Brooklyn, if you can move all the chairs in the living room in the cupboard under the stairs, and then move the table by that wall

Brooklyn- yep

Ellie- and Andy come with me, so I need your amazing chef skills to help me with the cold food.

Andy- cool. so were do we begin

Ellie- well, ill get some vegetables out and you start cutting them for a salad, except for the carrots and peppers which we will have on the side with the dips

Andy- okay

i started putting the cold food into bowls and on plates while Andy was cutting them. after we had done. it was around 1pm. as Andy finished off covering the food with silver foil, i went to see how the others were getting on. first i went into the living room where sonny and jack were. they had blown up at least 70 balloons.

Ellie- wow guys that's great, you can stop there if you'd like. okay the tape and string is over there, if you could start placing the banners and balloons around the bottom of the house randomly.

jack- Ellie don't you need to get ready?

Ellie- yeah i do but

sonny- no, you go upstairs and get ready, we know how long it will take you to get ready

Ellie- are you sure?

jack- yeah go get ready we'll get everything ready

Ellie - okay, but wait what about you? you guys need to get ready

Andy came in and sat on the sofa

Andy- once we've finished we're go back home and get ready. i made them all have a shower either yesterday or this morning *laughs*

Ellie- okay *chuckles*, but still are you sure?

Andy- just go! *laughing*

Ellie- okay okay, ill do my hair and makeup and then i need to go and get the cake. oh and the balloons should be here any moment so just put them in the front room by the window

Brooklyn- okay now go

Ellie- okay okay

i headed upstairs, first i laid out my outfit for the night, then i brushed my teeth and washed. i spent about 30 minutes putting on my makeup and a little bit on my hair. yesterday i already curled it before bed so i had quite loose curls. i then put on my jewellery and headed downstairs. by this time, the party was starting in just over an hour. as i went to go down the stairs, i saw banners, balloons and decorations everywhere. i went into the living room and saw Brooklyn and rye.

Ellie- wow guys, this is beautiful. how'd you do this so fast?

Brooklyn- we have our ways.

Ellie- and you put the big balloons where i wanted them. thank you

rye- your welcome

i smiled at them both. i headed into the kitchen where the others were finishing up.

jack- soooo, what do you think?

Ellie- i love it, its perfect.

i looked at the time, crap christian's meant to be home soon and ive got to get the cake.

Ellie- crap, i need to go and get the cake

Andy- i'll drive you,

Ellie- thanks, jack and sonny, you two go home and get ready and then once youve both come back the others can go and get ready.

sonny- yeah that's cool

i went into the living room where Brooklyn and rye were

Ellie- hey, me and Andy are going to pick up the cake and jack and sonny are going home to get ready, could you two finish off the decorations in the kitchen? and once they're back can you two go and get ready?

Brooklyn- yeah sure

rye- how long will you be?

Ellie- 10 minutes maybe, only a few streets away, also christian will be home soon

rye- cool, see you in a bit

Ellie- bye

i rushed out the door, Andy was already in the car. we drove a few streets away, then when we found the house, i headed up to the door. the lady gave me the cake, we had a small conversation and the we headed back. it took around 15 minutes. i saw Christians car.

Andy- do you want me to park your car in our driveway?

Ellie- um, yeah that would be great, and then you go get ready

Andy- yes ma'am

i got out the car with the cake, and then headed inside. i put the cake in the kitchen, sneaking past the living room where christian and the others where.

christian- Ellie, i love it

Ellie- i'm so glad

i gave him a big hug

Ellie- happy birthday

christian- thank you.

Ellie- before we do anything, go and get ready. people will come early, especially your parents.

christian- yeah your right, well see you boys in a bit

the doorbell rung, for some reason, my heart dropped as i thought it was guests already. but when i opened the door it was only jack, sonny and Andy. as soon as they came in, rye and Brooklyn went out. i then headed upstairs and got dressed
