Who is she?

Later that night, I went downstairs. To see Victoria and our parents in the parlor, but I didn't see Victor. "Oh I'm sure he'll be back shortly. He's terrified of the dark." Nell said. I pulled Victoria to the side."What is going on?" I whispered. "Victor is missing!" she said quietly. There was a rap on the door. "Come in!" my mother Maudline responded. Then Lord Barkis entered the room. "I have some information on Victor" he declared. " Victor was seen on the bridge with a woman." "Woman? He doesn't know any women" Nell said confused. Lord Barkis shook his head. " Or so you thought.If I had the  opportunity to marry a woman such like Victoria I would lavish her with riches." he left with and slammed the door. " Good heavens Finis what shall we do?" Maudline asked in despair. " Fetch me musket! He raged. William stopped him." Now, now, Lord Barkis was probably just confused..." "Regardless," my father muttered,"We are still a groom short for the wedding tomorrow!" The Vandorts left. And Victoria ran up to her room. I followed after her. As I did I overheard my father say, "If I ever see that Vandort boy, I'll strangle him with my bare hands!" he roared. I ran upstairs.

                                             One hour later

I was sitting in my room drawing when I heard a knock on my glass door. I quickly grabbed the fire iron and turned around. But it was only Victor. I dropped the fire stick and ran to let him in. I pulled him inside. "Were the hell have you been? You're freezing cold! Come sit by the fire." He sat down and I sat across him. "I'm so happy your ok! Were have you been we've been so worried!" 'I-I, oh dear," he started "Alice I confess, I don't love Victoria, I-I love you. And Victoria is a lovely girl, but I just don't love her and I need you." My face turned crimson "I-I love you too,"he took my chin in his thumb and forefinger and  leaned in to kiss me, then Victoria burst in. "Oh, Alice I saw Victor outside!" her eyes fell upon Victor. " Victor! Were did you go? Are you alright?" he shook his head then said "I've seemed to find myself married, and you should know I'ts unexpected." he nervously whispered.Suddenly the door thud open and wind howled around my room. A woman with a tattered wedding gown came in. She had pale blue skin, and navy hair, that was tangled, "My darling I just wanted to meet-" she stopped when she saw Victoria and I. She pulled Victor close "Who's this?" I stared at her. "Who is she?" I asked. she put her hand in front of my face to show me her ring. "His wife." she said. Victoria narrowed her eyes. "Victor?" "I-I can explain," he stuttered I gasped "She's dead! You're married to a dead lady!" Victoria almost fainted. the woman grabbed Victor and flew out of the room. "Victor!!!" I screamed. And he was gone
