5. 'Why Are You Take The Only Thing I Love Away From Me?!'

*Michael P.O.V.*

Madie stared at me with fear written all over her face. "N-No, L-Luke's gonna hurt him." she shuddered out. "Or m-maybe Luke will get hurt." I walk over to her and pull her into my arms and held her close as I saw her eyes tear up. "I don't want any of them to get hurt because of me." she said and sniffled. I rub her back and I feel her start to shake. "Madie, calm down babe." I shussed her. "I-I can't." she said as I rubbed her back. "Do you want to go and see them?" Calum asked and Madie nods. "Ok, go get dressed and we'll all go." I said and she nods and walked into Luke's room. "What if Luke and Ashton hurt each other?" Calum asked. "I don't know, I just hope that they don't hurt each other really badly." I said and I hear Luke's bedroom door open and I see Madie walking to us. "Ready?" I asked and she nods. We walk out to my car and drove over to Ashton's apartment.

Madie was shaking as we walked up the stairs to Ashton's apartment. "Calm down." I said and held her in my arms and kissed her forehead. She calmed down a little but not a lot. We get to the door. Madie gets out the key and unlocks the door. We walk inside and it's quiet... "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO HER?!" I hear Luke yell. "I WAS DRUNK I COULDN'T HELP IT!" I hear Ashton yell back. "Calum take Madie and stay here." I said and passed Madie to him. "Mikey no." she said in a weak voice that broke my heart. "I'll be ok." I said and kissed her forehead and she nuzzles into Calum and he holds her close. She sighs and nods at me to go and I walked down the hall and into Ashton's room. I burst in and see Ashton beating the shit out of Luke before I pry Ashton off of him. "Ashton! Stop now!" I said sternly and he stopped and he was breathing heavily. "YOU TOUCH MY GIRLFRIEND!" Ashton yelled at Luke as Luke stared at him more with anger then horror. "I WAS COMFORTING HER BECAUSE YOU WERE TOO BUSY FUCKING ANOTHER GIRL!" Luke yelled back at him as Ashton got out of my grip. "Where's Madie?" he asked. "You are not going near her." I said and got in front of the doorway. "Please Mike." he whispered. He has bags under his eyes. I guess he hasn't slept in days. Well it has been a week since he's seen her. "No, you're not hurting her like that again." I said. "Please Michael I'm begging you." he said. "No." I said. He tried to get me out of the way but failed. "You are NOT hurting my best friend's heart. I've know her longer then you have." I said. "Mike please just let me see her." he asked and I shake my head. "We have to go. C'mon Luke." I said and Luke got up and glared at Ashton as he walked by him. I walk out of the room. We walk down the hallway and Madie gasped. "Luke." she said and ran up to him and hugged him. "Are you ok? Are you hurt?" she asked as she looked him over. "Same old Madie, caring for others before herself." I said and she playfully glared at me. "I'm fine Madie." Luke chuckled and she hugged him. They pulled away and I see Ashton come out of his room! "Ashton?" Madie said and they stared at each other for awhile. "Madie I-" I cut him off. "You are not gonna hurt her again." I said while getting in front of her. "I can change." Ashton said. "No you can't, you can't change what has already been done." I said. Ashton opened his mouth to say something but shut it quickly and looked at the ground. "Luke, Calum take Madie and go home." I said and toss my car keys at Calum and he catches them. "C'mon." Luke said and took Madie and Calum out of the apartment and out to my car. "Why?" Ashton asked. "Why what?" I asked. "WHY ARE YOU TAKING THE ONLY THING I LOVE AWAY FROM ME?!" he yelled and looked at me. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I love her and your taking her away from me. You're taking the only thing I love away from me." he said in a weak voice as he stared at the ground again. "It's for Madie's safety. I know you miss her but... Ashton it's for your own good, so you can think about what you did to that little heart of hers." I said. He gripped at his hair and groaned in frustration. I see him fell to his knees and hear him sniffle. "Ashton?" I asked. "Get out." he whispered. "Ash-" "I SAID GET OUT NOW MICHAEL!" he yelled and looked at me with tears and anger in his eyes. I flinch at his sudden voice change before I open my mouth to say something but quickly shut it and shook my head. "Well... Goodbye Ashton... I hope you have a good life." I said and walk out of the apartment. I walk down all the stairs and walk over to Calum's car and get in.

I walk inside Luke's apartment and see Madie, Luke, and Calum sitting on the couch watching TV. Luke sees me and put a finger to his lips and pointed to Madie. I see a sleeping Madie cuddled into his side. I nod and smile at them. I sit down next to them. "How'd it go?" Luke asked in a hushed voice. "Bad, I feel really bad for Ashton." I said and Luke looked at me. "Really?" he asked and I nod. "I hate seeing him this way." I said and looked down at my lap. "It's for his own good though." he said. "I know." I said and fiddled with my fingers. "I'm gonna go to bed. Night Mike." Luke said. "Night Luke." I said and he picked Madie up and walked to his room. I lay down on the couch and closed my eyes and fell asleep...

*Ashton P.O.V.*

I keep my head down as I walk down the streets. "Ashy." I lift my head and see the slut Allison AKA the girl I had sex with... "What do you want?" I asked and passed her. She caught up to me and leaned on me. "I want you to come to my place so we can-" I cut her off. "I'm doing any of that with you." I said and she looked at me as she pouts. "Why not?" she whined. "Because I have a girlfriend." I said and she had a smirk on her face. She leaned in close to my ear. "Oh c'mon Ashy, she'll never know." she said and I push her away. "She already know you fucking slut!" I said and she stared at me in shock. "That's rude." she said. "It was suppose to." I said and kept walking even though I didn't know where I was going. Why did this happen to me?!
