SHATTERED HEART

"What is up with you?" Ms. Kim raised a brow at the sight of her over-smiling daughter in the rear-view mirror.
"She spent her day with Jungkook." Jin answered for her, rolling his eyes.
"Oh."
A few minutes later, the Kim family reached their home. While Jin and Ms. Kim went to go on with their lives in the living room and kitchen, Hyejin ran to her room.
The smile she had on her face wasn't erasable. It was permanent indeed. She was way too happy. Her giggles filled the room as she texted her bestfriend,
Hyejinie: 'Yeah, it was great and I think I'm ready to say the three words.☺️'
Chaeyoungie: 'Well, thank God, it's been six months already lmao'
Hyejinie: 'I didn't wanna rush it. People says those words way too easily'
Chaeyoungie: 'I know and I'm proud of you for this'
As she was about to type her next message, her phone's screen turned into an upcoming call. Her face instantly lightened up,
Hyejinie: 'He's facetiming me, wish me luck'
Chaeyoungie: 'Good luck Jinie'
Chaeyoungie: 'Oh, and,'
Chaeyoungie: 'I love you. I'll destroy him into pieces if he doesn't stand up to your standard.'
Hyejin giggled as she picked up the call,
Hyejin: 'Thanks Chae, I love you too'
"Why are you laughing?"
Jungkook's voice brought her back together and she simply laid down on her bed, holding her phone up.
Hyejin watched him in awe. His hair was messy and fell down on his forehead. His eyes grew bigger as his focus intensified. The way he was when he plays games always attracted her. He looked so handsome.
Not getting any answers from the girl, Jungkook looked away from his laptop and checked his phone,
"Babe? Are you here? Is it lagging?"
Hyejin hummed and rested her head on the palm of her head after stabilizing herself on her bed,
"I'm just admiring my incredibly handsome boyfriend."
