Chapter 58: 'Sup Kid

Third Person P.O.V

Izuku gnashed his teeth.

"What the hell is with this guy?", he shouted as he sent another Detroit Smash at the silent No.10. The attack didn't even touch the man, who simply stared straight at him and whispered something nobody could hear. The wind attack dissipated, the man not moving a single muscle.

"None of our attacks are hitting!", Momo exclaimed as she was knocked to the ground by an unseen attack. "He's just whispering something, and we're getting destroyed!"

Kaminari jumped into the air and sent a lightning bolt straight at the man, while Izuku teleported behind him and tried to punch him. Yet again, the man stood his ground and simply whispered something indiscernible, blocking both of their attacks with ease.

Meanwhile All Might and AIzawa were facing the musclebound No.6, and weren't having any more success than the kids. 

"TEXAS SMASH!!!", All Might roared as he sent a right hook directly in the eye of the man. Without a word, the Sovereign blocked it with one fist, not even wincing at the impact.

What?, All Might asked himself. I'm sure that was 100% percent of my full power! How did he block it so easily?

"That's a pretty neat swing you got there.", the man said. "You're definitely the strongest I've fought so far. It's still not enough though, you'll need to do better."

"Damn it...", All Might murmured under his breath. "Eraser Head! What's the hold up?"

"I'm telling you, I'm definitely cancelling his quirk!", Aizawa shouted back. "It's almost like... like this strength isn't coming from a quirk!"

"That's impossible!"

"I foresee you becoming a thorn in our side if left alone.", the man said as he directed his attention towards Aizawa. "That erasing quirk is quite troublesome, so I'll have to take care of you first."

In the blink of an eye, he was behind Aizawa with a punch directed straight at his gut.

"It's nothing personal."

Just before the fearsome attack connected, All Might got in the way and blocked the punch with both hands, gritting his teeth from the impact.

"Unfortunately, I can't allow you to do that.", he managed through clenched teeth. "You're not going to be able to get him without going through me."

"Very interesting!", the man exclaimed as he sent a barrage of punches on All Might. "It shouldn't be possible for anybody to match my strength, and yet here you are! What is the source of your strength!?"

All Might didn't answer, as he was too busy blocking the attacks.

"I know who you are, so why don't I tell you who I am?", the man said leisurely as he pummelled the hero. "My name is Dexter. I lift weights."

"I... don't care.", All Might answered as he narrowly avoided a right hook. "Do you normally talk this much during a fight?"

"Not normally, but that's because I can't ever have any fun when I fight.", Dexter answered. "Normally, it's one punch and then my opponent is dead."

"...I see."

"But, you're right. These kind of fights should be fought in silence. I will now refrain from speaking."

"...Ok."

While this was happening, Hisashi was struggling against the three Sovereign. Whenever he tried to make a move, the intelligent No.7 would telepathically tell Sanda and Lena how to avoid the attack and how to properly counter. But, due to Hisashi's nearly impenetrable defense that consisted of 12 different quirks, they were in a stalemate.
