Chapter 29 "Truth Revealed"

FOUR MONTHS LATER

HUMAN'S LAND

Seth left the hospital two weeks after his second surgery on a wheel chair and went to Dean's house.

Four months after that surgery, it was still hard for Seth to adabt to his new life on a wheel chair.

Dean, Roman and Sasha were always trying to help Seth and did their best to not make Seth feel sad. Seth always act like he is happy and fine when he is around them but the truth is that he wasn't fine.

The fact that he literally needs someone to help him do everything and the fact that he could no longer go to work was driving him crazy.

For four months he has refused to go out of the house, he spends most of his time in his room alone, reading books and listening to music.

On that morning, Seth woke up, but stayed in bed, he kept staring at the ceiling thinking how he needs help to get up from bed to get in his wheel chair.

After half an hour, Dean knocked on the door and came in.

"I am so sorry, Seth! My alarm got turned off somehow and I didn't get up on time, sorry for being late." Dean said as he brought the wheelchair beside the bed and then went to help Seth get up.

Seth dried his tears but Dean noticed that.

"What is wrong, buddy!! I swear I didn't hear the alarm. I am sorry." Dean said as he felt guilty for leaving Seth waiting for him.

"Don't be silly, Dean! I am not upset of you." Seth said.

"Then what is making you sad?" Dean said.

"Nothing, now come on! Move your ass and help me get on the chair." Seth said joking.

Dean knew Seth was pretending that he was fine but he didn't say no more, he helped Seth get on his wheelchair.

"Listen, I have called Roman, we agreed that he will come after his work with his wife so that we can all go out to have dinner together, you gotta call Sasha to come too." Dean said.

"I don't want to go out." Seth said.

"Seth! It's been 4 months since you came back from your surgery and you haven't seen the streets since then!! You have got to go out, have some fresh air, change your mood. The doctor said you have to do that!" Dean said.

"I don't want to do that today! Let's make it another day." Seth said.

"You always say that when I tell you we are going out." Dean said.

"I am really not in the mood." Seth said.

"Ok, fine! I will tell Sasha and I know she can handle this." Dean said.

"Go to your work and just don't worry about me, I am fine." Seth said.

"I will go to work, but this is not over, okai!! We will go out to have dinner today whether you like it or not...bye!!" Dean said and he left.
