Chapter 43 "Fire"

"In AJ and Alexa's House"

Alexa arrived at her house and the firefighters were putting off the fire.

AJ's car was on fire, it was a huge fire that it caught part of the house.

Alexa stood frozen in her place, she didn't know what to do, she was watching them putting off the fire with heavy heart.

Naomi saw Alexa so she went to her.

"What happened?" Alexa asked Naomi.

"I was in my front yard, I saw a huge guy walking in your front yard and he set the car on fire then left quickly." Naomi said.

Alexa had no clue who that man was or why he did that, she took out her phone to call AJ.

"In Luke's House"

Luke, Karl and AJ were still in the house, having dinner when AJ's phone started ringing.

AJ: Hey!

Alexa "in crying voice": You have to come right now.

AJ: What is going on?

Alexa: There is a fire.....The car and part of the house were set on fire...

AJ:.............

AJ looked shocked, he ended the call and got up in panic.

"Where are you going?" Luke asked.

"I have to go back home right now....." AJ said in panic while wearing his shoes.

"Wait, we are coming too." Karl said and he and Luke got up and drove in Karl's car.

They arrived at AJ's house at the moment when the fire was already put off and the firefighters were leaving.

The whole street was crowded with their neighbours who were watching the fire. They all started leaving and going back to their houses.

AJ got off Karl's car and went closer to his car.

The car was all burned down, the metallic body of the car was all black. Also part of the facade of the house was black because of the fire.

AJ stood in front of his car and tears started sliding down his eyes.

Alexa, Luke and Karl stood there knowing how much that car meant to AJ.

AJ sat down on the floor leaning his back on the burnt car and started crying.

"Let's get inside.....we better leave him alone until he calms down." Karl said to Alexa and Luke so they went inside the house.

"In Dean's House"

It was about 11 PM when Seth came back.

Sasha was waiting for him while Dean and Renee went to sleep because Dean has work tomorrow.

"Hey, babe! You still up?" Seth said taking his wheelchair to the living room to sit with Sasha.

"Yeah, I was waiting for you." Sasha said getting up to help Seth adjust his wheelchair.

"Thank you." Seth said.

"My mother has been texting me all day asking me to come back home or she will force me to." Sasha said.

"What is that bullshit?! She can't force you to go back." Seth said.

"I didn't text her back.....I don't know what should I tell her." Sasha said.

There was a pause.

"What are you thinking about?" Seth asked.

"I don't know! I can't think.....I don't want her to be mad but at the same time I will not let her control me." Sasha said.
