Chapter 40 "Retribution"

"In Dean and Renee's House"

It's been 2 hours since Sasha arrived at Dean's house. She helped Renee prepare lunch, and they all ate. Then she and Seth went to sit in the backyard.

"What did you do with your mother last night?" Seth asked.

"I told her that we got back together and she was furious. She still wants me to marry that neighbour. Of course I fought back and told her that I am going to marry you whether she likes it or not and then went to my room and locked the door and after she has slept, I prepared my bag and left early in the morning and came straight to here." Sasha said.

"I didn't want things to get to this between you and your mother." Seth said.

"It had to get to this because I will never let her ruin my life." Sasha said.

There was a pause that made Sasha surprised.

"Are you ok?" Sasha asked Seth.

"I am afraid that you are going to regret that decision." Seth said.

"Can you stop your nonsense?! This is the only decision that I will never ever regret." Sasha said.

Seth smiled, so she hugged him.

"Everything we have always dreamed of will come true as long as we are together. That wheelchair will never be an obstacle!! We will buy our dream house, get married and our wedding will be amazing!! We will also have  beautiful kids. Nothing can stop us from living the life we have always dreamed of." Sasha said, and her words seem to have a great positive effect on Seth.

"Yes! Yes, you are right!!" Seth said excitedly.

"You know what? Let's get up and look for a house. We will find that house... right now!! Come on!" Sasha said excitedly, and she got up, taking Seth with his wheelchair to the room to get dressed up.

"In Karl Anderson's House"

AJ arrived at Karl's house at about 6:30 PM. He knocked on the door, so Karl opened the door for him.

"I thought you would not come." Karl said, letting AJ in.

"I couldn't, I am a man of my word... kind of." AJ said.

"I am really happy that you came. Let's go inside." Karl said, and they went to the living room.

When they entered the living room, Karl's wife was sitting in there with none other than Alexa.

AJ was surprised by that, and so he looked at Karl with a raised eyebrow.

"Really?" AJ whispered to Karl.

"I am sorry." Karl said with a smile.

"You should be....." AJ said.

Alexa and Karl's wife got up.

"AJ, this is my wife, Iyo Shirai, she is Asian, from Japan actually, but she has been living here in the US for quite a long time now." Karl said, introducing his wife to AJ.

"Nice to meet you." AJ said, shaking her hand.

"Nice to meet you too, I have heard a lot about you from Karl." She said with a strong accent.

"Yeah, he is my lifetime, best friend." AJ said.

"And I believe you know who this is, this is Alexa... your wife." Karl said, joking.

"Very funny!" AJ said.

They all sat down, and Karl talked about how he and his wife met. Then, after a while, Karl's wife got up to prepare the food, and Karl got up with her to help her.
