I kept thinking about the kiss that could've become, but I damn well knew it couldn't happen because if Leo found out, only God knows what he would do to me and Vinnie.
It was now lunchtime and I just wasn't feeling it and decided not to eating anything, I saw Audrey and sat down next to her.
"Hey, where have you been?"
I explained the whole thing to Audrey, from Vinnie almost kissing me and telling him about Leo hurting me.
"OH MY GOSH Y/N"
I looked at her with a confusing expression and raised my eyebrow at her.
"Do you realize that Vinnie likes you or else he wouldn't have almost kissed you!"
"I mean I guess you're right, but that's the least of my problems with everything going and you know my dad's passing"
We both got silent and i started crying just remembering looking at my dad's lifeless body. Audrey came over to my side and held me tightly.
𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕
I walked over to the cafeteria hoping to find Y/n and see if we could talk about that kiss because after that moment my feelings were crystal clear and I just knew she had to be mine and I could show her love and compassion, not like Leo who treats her like shit but i had to break up with Jules first. How I was going to do it was simply go into an empty classroom and just let her down slowly. As I was turning right to go into the cafeteria I spot Jules and I couldn't believe what was happening. She is freaking making out with Mikey Garza, the team captain for our school's soccer team. To be honest i didn't even bother, I just walked past them and Jules didn't even notice. I scanned the cafeteria and I saw Audrey hugging Y/n. She was crying again. Damn was it the same thing as before or something else? I walked over to them and Audrey noticed me so she whispered into Y/n's ear so she only she can hear.
"Um hey Y/n" I said nervously
"Hey Vinnie" she said as she wiped her tears away.
"You okay? was it something I did or-"
"i just have a lot on my plate right now" she said cutting me off and walking away
I couldn't just let her go that easily. I gently grabbed her hand remembering if i held it too tightly her memories with Leo could come rushing back.
"Y/n please"

"Y/n please", he said with those puppy dog eyes, I've never been a sucker for those but he makes it work and my heart just melted at that moment.
"What do you want from me Vinnie? I mean don't you have a girlfriend to be with?"
"I did but i caught her making out with Mikey Garza down the halls"
"Oof damn sorry to hear that"
"Eh don't be, I didn't feel any sparks when I was with her, but um anyways Y/n I was just wondering if you would like to hangout sometime?"
"Um-"
"Ayo Vinnie let your fucking hand go"
"fuck" i thought to myself and with that I realized Vinnie's hand was still holding mine and I realized that tough raspy voice was non other then my boyfriend Leo. I quickly let go of Vinnie's hand and prayed Leo wouldn't do anything stupid or hurtful.
