"Ah senior year the year where we graduate and leave this shithole," Audrey said as she looked around the school and smiled and waved at everyone. That's just how Audrey is sweet and kind unless you get on her bad side. "Yeah but i mean I'm gonna miss the sports games, the pep rallys, weekend nights with you and random people from school", You replied,
"So I know you probably don't wanna hear about this but how has Leo been treating you?"
"well I've tried distancing myself from him but you know he hates it and then well you know the rest Audrey"
"Y/n he's hurting you both emotionally and physically, just dump the guy's ass already"
"Audrey i've tried countless times but it always ends the same, he grabs my wrist, i start to cry, then he slaps me on the cheek and he starts yelling at me and saying i'll never find someone half as good as him, I'm a bitch, and etc"
"Well, does he at least know about everything that's happening and has happened?"
"i tried once that was before he started being physical, but we got interrupted when he got called to go back home"
I've been with Leo since junior year and we were happy but then he started getting physical, sometimes when I go over his house I would find him drunk and when I would try to help him and take the bottle away he wouldn't budge and he'd yell at me but that was it, until July 4th I spent it at his house and I guess he stole some beers and he wanted to make out with me and the other stuff but I wasn't feeling it because of my home situation and when I pushed him away he got mad and slapped me, not once, not twice, but four times. i tried getting away but he just grabbed my wrist tightly and i just remember waking up in his bed filled with brusies. And as quietly as I could I went home walking and tried covering all the bruises, I was successful until Audrey came over and looked at me trying to cover it. I told her to keep it a secret and her being the good friend she is she did. But she also keeps encouraging me to go to the police.
"Hey Y/n we should go to class we don't wanna be late"
I nodded and followed her. As we entered class I spotted my other best friend Vinnie, I've always known Vinnie we just never talked until Junior year when I started going out with Leo. And of course Leo didn't like that we were hanging out so we both kept our distance but we hangout and talk sometimes. Audrey thinks he's cute and says he likes me but I doubt it because he's going out with the most popular girl in school Jules Howard. She also happens to be bitchy and rude and to be the daughter of Mr. Howard the owner of the famous Howard Hotel. So basically she's a rich spoiled brat. At least she has something in common with Leo. She despises whenever me and Vinnie talk. Audrey and I take our seats and speak of the devil Jules Howard enters the class with her Louie Vuitton backpack and Gucci shoes. Behind her is her sidekick Alyssa Wiley. Despite being her friend Alyssa is actually pretty chill and nice and she's dating the famous Zach Matthews the Quarterback for O'Dea highschool.
