[ I gave him my middle finger and closed the door. After what felt like forever I was finally free, I started crying tears of joy because of how happy I was. No more of me crying on endless nights and trying to plaster a fake smile on my face. ]
I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, judging by how his arms felt around my waist and how strong they felt, it was none other the Vinnie. I turned around to face him and his smile faded from seeing my red eyes.
"woah Y/N are you okay, because if he did-"
I rolled my eyes playfully and grabbed his check to pull him in for a kiss. His hands relaxed on my waist. I pulled back and smiled brightly.
"So I'm guessing he didn't lay finger on you huh?", Vinnie asked laughing a bit
I nodded as a response and took his hand and led him to the car.
We hopped inside of the car and we listened to Biggie Smalls. At a red light Vinnie asked me how it went. But I didn't know how to tell him that his ex was there too. I couldn't lie to him so I told him how it went. I told him everything from Jules being in her spandex and Leo's t shirt, to Leo forming a fist. He looked hurt when I mentioned Jules. I didn't say anything I just gave him a long warming hug letting him know it'll be okay.
"Ok ok enough of this sad shit, what if we go to the movies", Vinnie said breaking the silence.
"the movies?" I questioned.
"yeah, because you know it's dark and since it's Sunday there's not gonna be a lot of people", he said smirking and emphasizing the word dark. As in we could kiss and maybe makeup like we did last night in the playground. I smiled and looked down at my shoes thinking about it. With that the red stoplight turned green.
"So is that a yes?" Vinnie continued
"Does this answer your question?" I said as I gave him a long kiss which caused the cars behind us honk. Vinnie blushed and it was the cutest thing ever.
"Wait before we go, can you leave me at my house so I can change?"
"Sure and I'll change too, because we low-key look bummy", Vinnie replied.
As Vinnie left me at my house I changed into something more cute. And maybe try to make myself look more attractive. But since it is just the movies I didn't want to go overboard. I decided on jeans and and this white cropped shirt with a little red devil printed on and my custom made red flame airforce ones.

I felt pretty confident about this outfit, although it isn't a date, it felt like it. He made me feel things Leo didn't make me feel. I just hope he's the one. But technically we were just friends who kiss often. So we weren't together, which made me frown but I mean the kisses have to mean something right?

I left Y/N at her house and went home to pick an outfit when I got home. I rushed to my bedroom to get ready that I didn't even notice I accidentally pushed Reggie. If you didn't know Reggie is my younger brother.
"Yo Vinnie careful dude"
"Sorry man I have something that I have to do later today" I replied, obviously I wasn't going to tell Reggie because then he'd start making kissy faces and noises.
"Oh I see you have a date with this girl named Y/N Y/L/N right?" I was shocked at the fact Reggie knew and my eyes widened.
"How did you know?"
"I didn't but since last night you came home and all you ever do is stalk her instagram, plus she's like the most beautiful and hottest girl here in Seattle"
"Well you're not wrong" I muttered blushing at the fact that I'm going to see her again.
"Aha! so you like her" Reggie exclaimed
"Um what? pff no she's just a friend and I don't stalk her on Instagram"
"well your smile and phone says otherwise"
"Ok ok but how did you even know I was hanging out with her today, if I didn't even mention her?"
"Well firstly today when we were having breakfast I could see you were stalking her Instagram and TikToks secondly, you were moaning her name in your sleep" Reggie laughed out. I'll admit I did have a dream with her but I don't remember moaning her name out.
"Um ogey well Reggie sorry about pushing you it was an accident and if you'll excuse me I need to get ready"
"Ok dude but when you come back give me all the details."
I nodded and went to my bathroom to take a shower and changed into something less bummy. I wanted to impress her, and although it's not a date it feels like one. God I just want to kiss her beautiful lips again and see her smile. But I feel like I'm rushing things, it's like we're together but we're not plus she legit just got out of a toxic relationship. I'm afraid that I'm just her rebound. Hopefully that's not the case.
I decided to wear my shadow hill hoodie with jeans. A classic combo and in case she gets cld I can lend her my hoodie. Because that's what a boy that is attractive to someone does. Right?
