I woke to the sound of people talking or arguing. I got out of bed seeing Camila had already gotten up. I stood in the hall closing the bedroom door and I saw Sierra with her eyes half opened she wore baggy sweats and an oversized tee shirt with a messy bun. She groaned when she heard pans clattering and held her head. She's hungover. I followed her down the hall until she turned to the bathroom. I walked into the living room seeing Emily wrapped in a blanket with Ana in her arms sleeping. "Morning kido" She looked straight ahead to the tv where laughter was coming from. She murmured a morning without looking away. "Whatcha watchin?" I asked rubbing my eye still standing in my spot. "Nothing" She murmured again. "I'm proud honey" He hummed and I walked to the kitchen where all the ruckus was coming from.
"Good morning babe" Camila walked up kissing my cheek. I saw Sinu cooking something on the stove. "Oh Sinu you don't have to cook, I have people for that" I walked over to see what Sinu was making. French toast. "I know, I gave them the week off." I stared at her hoping it was a joke. "A whole week?" "Yeah" She said nodding her head.
"Laur uhh I forgot to tell you my parents are staying for a week" Camila said awkwardly. I sighed knowing there was nothing else to do.
"Lauren where's your Aspirin?" Sierra walked in whispering and holding her head.
"How long is that staying here" I said to Camila referring to Sierra. "A week I think. I'm not sure" I'm ok with Camila's parents staying here they let me stay in their home in Miami, but Sierra?
"Lauren" Sierra whispered again. "It's in my bedroom bathroom in the top cabinet" I left Camila and Sinu to finish cooking. I got a glimpse of Alejandro walking around the lawn through the window.
I stood next to Emily and took Ana from her arms to take her to her crib. I froze when I heard a familiar voice come from the television.
'Hi I'm Lauren. It's five in the morning, the sun is starting to rise and the birds are starting to sing their annoying wake up songs. This was a bad idea and I hate myself for it but ay YOLO.'
I took a step back looking at the screen with wide eyes. A pale eight teen year old me filled the screen with bags under her eyes messy hair with sprinkles of water in it.
'The good thing is I was able to spend hours with that girl over there. The one that has her face in the bag of chips....SHIT SHE'S SLEEPING'
"AHA HA OH MY GOD!!!" Emily broke out in laughter making Ana stir in my arms.
"Emily" I hissed at her to keep it down. "Where did... Who gave...What is this?" I said referring to the video diary Camila started in case we died.
"Camz- I mean Camila gave it to me this morning" I looked to my side seeing Camila walk in with a smirk. I glared at her. She knows exactly what is on that video. I'm not proud to admit it but, I feel asleep on the toilet and just my luck, Camila got it on tape.
"What? Come on Lauren it was one of our best fourty eight hours. What's wrong with her watching it?"
"Nothing is wrong with her watching it but..." I pulled Camila closer with my free arm.
"what about the sleeping on the toilet part?" I whispered to her. She smiled and patted my shoulder. "Oh honey it's okay don't worry"
Oh ok so she hasn't seen it yet.
"She already saw it." Camila said calmly smoothing out the fabric on my shoulder. "She's had the whole thing on repeat for two hours now" Camila scoffed and walked back to the kitchen. I glared at her as she left. I turned back to Emily who was biting on a pillow to hold back her laughter. I looked to the screen seeing it was the image of a door. I knew what came next. I grabbed the remote out of her hands and pointed it to the screen pausing it. Did I say my luck was a joke? The video paused at the very moment when I ran out the bathroom. Emily laughed and snorted stomping her feet on the floor.
"Em's keep it down" Sierra walked by whispering to Emily. She looked to the screen and smiled pointing to the screen "I love that part" She said laughing quietly.

"Camila mija how was your little party yesterday?" Sinu asked Camila. We all gathered around the table eating Sinu's french toast.
"It was good. It would have been better if you and dad were there" Camila said sadly.
"I know mija but the plane was late" Camila sighed. I knew she really wanted her parents there with her yesterday but at least Sierra went, kinda.
"It's ok mommy I went representing you and daddy" Sierra said proudly. I scoffed looking down at my plate.
"What" Sierra said sternly looking at me. I shook my head smirking. "Nuthin"
"Did the girls go?" Sinu asked Camila again. "Yeah Normani went"
"Did you introduce Lauren to her?" Camila giggled looking over at me. "She already knew her. They went to school together. Dinah too."
"You went to school with Normani and Dinah?" Sierra said chiming in. "Yeah" I responded.
"Oh and Ally too." Camila said. "Whose Ally?" Nosey Sierra asked.
"Normani's ex girlfriend. Well first she was Lauren's ex girlfriend but then she was Normani's girlfriend and I was Lauren's girlfriend but then Ally was Normani's ex girlfriend and then I was Lauren's ex wife and then she was Lauren's girlfriend but them Muah popped up and she became Lauren's ex girlfriend making me Lauren's girlfriend....again." Camila tried explaining leaving the five of us confused. Sierra started at the table with her brows furrowed trying to understand what exactly Camila said.
Emily shrugged and stabbed her fork into her french toast "They're just a big ball of Lesbians" Sierra giggled at Emily's comment and went back to eating.
