"What...?"
Chan didn't realize what he had said until he looked the boy in the eyes.
"I-I said you're mine...my make up artist that is..."
Felix's heart fluttered for a moment, before feeling it drop. His brain and heart were confused from Chan's constant teasing, he didn't know if he was serious or not.
"Wait..."
"Come on Bambi, let's um... go enjoy the party" Chan took his hand leading them back.
"Ok..." Felix mumbled as the older pulled them back to where everyone else was enjoying themselves.
Felix tried forgetting what Chan said, trying to change the subject.
"Chan..."
"Yes?"
"Why don't you like Jackson...?"
Chan let out a sigh as he pulled him and Felix to some areas with seats, pulling the boy down to sit next to him.
"It's a long story but...we've had bad blood for a while now. He would always try to purposely psych me out at shoots we would have together sometimes. In general he's a fake person, and I can't stand that" Chan spoke up, not realizing he was holding Felix's hand still.
"Oh...is that why you don't want me talking with him?" Felix asked with concern.
"Somewhat...yes. He is sneaky and manipulative, he's taken many important people from me. I had a hair stylist before Seungmin he poached" Chan said sadly looking down.
Felix listened, realizing what Chan was saying.
"So..."
"So, I don't want him to take you from me. I've never had someone as important as you in my life..."
Felix felt his heart do the same thing as before.
"Chan..."
Chan cleared his throat, realizing what he confessed.
"U-um, important to work with...I mean..."
I don't want to scare him off...if he doesn't feel the same...
And once again, Felix's heart dropped again hearing Chan change his words around.
I thought...?
No Felix...he just means work relationship...nothing more...I need to stop feeling like this...
"So, just be careful around him"
"Ok Chan, I will. Thanks for um...letting me know" Felix gave a small smile.
"Well, I've gotta protect my Bambi don't I?" Chan teased with a smile.
Here we go again with the pet name...
"Chan, is it really that hard for you to-
Whoa! What are you doing?!"
Chan had reached his hand to Felix's forehead.
"Calm down Bambi, I'm just fixing your hair" he laughed as he gently brushed a few strands of Felix's hair out of his face.
The younger immediately blushing looked down.
"O-oh...um...thanks..."
Chan cooed at how adorable and flustered the boy became.
You're pulling me more and more towards you Felix...
Despite the strange interaction Felix had with Jackson and Chan, he tried to enjoy the rest of the night.
Close to 2 am, the boy was wasted clinging onto Hyunjin.
