"Nice to meet you Felix, I'm Yves"
"Well, you ready to get started?" He said.
"Of course!"
"He's amazing, you'll love his work!" Sana clapped.
"I can't wait" Yves smiled.
"Ok then, follow me please" Felix smiled as he gestured for Yves to follow him. He led her to the another part of the store with bright lights and larger make up counter, telling her to take a seat.
"Ok, so what products have you been using right now?"
"Um, just some drug store ones. But I don't think they're my right shade, I think I need to go darker"
"Ok, let's see what we can do" he smiled as he shifted to grab some foundation sets.
He also went to grab different lines of products, getting primer, concealer, and more brushes.
After about 20 minutes of trial and error, he found the right one for her.
"Ok, take a look. I think this shade is perfect for you!"
"OMG, it's perfect! You can't even tell I'm wearing any makeup..." she gasped in disbelief after leaning closer to the mirror.
"Well, that's the point of make up. If you do it right that is" he smiled as he started to grab the products to line up in front of her.
"So these are the ones that work best for you, if you go to the register my colleague Momo can check you out" he smiled.
"Thank you so much, you really know your stuff Felix" she said as she got up.
"Oh thank you... I use it so often, makeup is like second nature to me" he joked as he began to clean up.
"Do you work here full time? It seems you like it"
"I do, and I freelance. As much as I do like working here and makeup, it doesn't pay all my bills" he joked again.
"Oh... well have you thought about doing professional work? It pays well if you know the right people"
"I've tried... but I don't have enough experience technically, so no one wants to hire me..."
"Hmm, hold on"
Yves reached into her bag, pulling out a business card she handed to him.
"JYP... modeling?" He took the card looking at it.
"Yes, right now one of our top models is in dire need of a make up artist, and from what you showed me today, I haven't seen anyone done as much great work in a while"
"Oh..really?"
"Yes! So if you're interested, the address is there. You can stop by in the morning and me and the rest of the team can discuss the position more in detail. The requirements and such. How's that sound?"
"Wow, it sounds really good... thanks! I'll come around 8am? My shift here starts at 9am, but they won't mind if I'm a little late"
"Sounds perfect! I'm looking forward to seeing you again Felix! And thank you for your help again!" She said before walking off.
Felix watched her walk off, his brain still processing what just happened.
This isn't happening... is it? I actually may have an opportunity...?
He put the card in his pocket before going back to cleaning up everything. Once he was done he walked up to the register, waving bye to Yves as he saw her walk out.
