Kios POV:
We cuddled for a bit but then we got ready she took a shower first and when she was done I went, then I put on some light blue ripped jeans with a black t-shirt (it was usually hot in la so they don't need sweaters or jackets) Elle and I decided to match but of course she look way way better. "You ready?" I couldn't answer I was at a loss of words because of how she looked "Kio?" "Um ah yeah I'm ready" I got a notification and it was from my friend Josh we have been talking about me moving into the Sway house with him, Griffin, Jaden, Bryce and Anthony but I'm not sure.
Me and Elle got into her car and she started driving. It was mostly a silent drive but I was fine with it I was by her side and that was the best thing ever. "Hey could we stop by my house real quick?" "Sure thing what's your addy?" I told her my address, it was really close to the school so it didn't take us off route I just wanted to have a quick chat with my aunt about yesterday.
Skip ten minutes*
Me and my aunt had talked about the situation yesterday and now hopefully me bringing up the Sway house thing wouldn't look as bad. "Hey so there's something we need to talk about" "how much worse can it get" "so you know my friends at my old school they have started this thing called Swayla and they invited me to come live with them, as we are really close and it's kinda a Tik tok thing" she took a deep breath and she was really thinking. "Yes you may" "aw that's sucks caus- WAIT for real?!?!?!" "Yes Kio I want you to be happy and those friends of yours are a good influence on you so yes" "thank you so so much" I quickly texted Josh telling him the news and we were so hyped. "I'll start packing your things and you young man should start going to school. I checked the time and I realized I was almost late and that I've left Elle there this whole time.
I rushed out giving my aunt a quick kiss on the forehead and jumped into the car "hey E sorry for the wait" "no it's okay so what's up?" "So you know Tik tok" "Yeah I do but I'm not that popular just 152 followers" "well here's the thing I'm kinda a big deal on there with 5.0M followers" "wow can't believe I haven't seen you on there yet but go on" "so I'm friends with Josh Richards' Griffin Johnson, Anthony reeves and Jaden Hossler" "wow I'm actually so surprised, I hear about them all the time especially Jaden I love his song comatose and I can't wait for angels and demons to come out" "haha so they invited me to live in the sway house" we had arrived at school and started getting out. "Wait you mean the official sway house like swayla?" "yeah and I want to take you there today after school to show you them you can even bring Katie" "Sure why not I'd love to can't wait to tell Katie" "we'll I'll see you at 5th" "yep see you there" before she left she gave me a quick peck on the cheek and I was stunned but I didn't hate it.
Elles POV:
I decided to give Kio a quick peck and I don't know why it just felt right. As I was walking to class I was stopped by no one else but Jade "so you and Kio?" "No and why do you even care" "good cause he's mine now you'd never have a chance with him anyways you're to basic and ugly" I wanted to say something but inside I knew it was true she really brought out some of my deepest insecurities that made me hate myself. I tried to say something back but I choked on my words. "Aww cat got your tongue" her and her minions walked away laughing and I felt so broken.
Skip to 5th*
In the morning I had talked to Katie about the incident and she understood what I was feeling and cheered me up but I still felt broken like there was a piece that needed to be filled but I don't know by what or by.... who. "Hey E" Kio said to me as we were running laps "hey Kio" we continued running and talked and the suddenly in the middle of our conversation something struck me. He was the missing piece the piece that held my life together the piece that brought me joy the piece I needed in my life but something wasn't right I just had a gut feeling.
End of the day*
(For some context Katie couldn't come because she was busy after school)
"Hey you ready to go" "um yeah sure" Kio looked at me and I couldn't quite understand what he was thinking "E is there something on your mind you seemed off today?" "No I'm alright" we got into the car and stopped to get some Tim Hortons. (Canadian things 😂) we sat and ate and continued our conversation "um Kio I have a question for you" "shoot" "so do you have anyone on your mind at the moment or someone you're talking to?" "Nope I'm a single Pringle and ever since my past before I moved here I never thought about something like that, why?" "No reason". We shut down the topic fairly quickly and I could tell he was trying to figure out why I brought up that topic. We got back into the car and went until we reached it "ah Swayla" out in the front were some pretty expensive cars and it kinda made me feel uneasy but it all washed away when 5 VERY attractive guys came outside each greeting Kio with that bro hug thingy they all do"Hey guys I'd like you to meet my friend Elle.they all turned around and looked at me "hi I'm Elle" "Griffin" "Jaden" "Josh" "Quinton" "andddd Anthony".
I looked at them all and they looked friendly except for Anthony who looked at me with puppy dog eyes as if he saw something he really wanted. I blushed and Kio saw and quickly dragged me inside to show me around and I got to to admit it was pretty nice
A/N since there are many characters now I'm going to be using letters to show who's talking
When we were done we all sat down to watch some Netflix
Elle: do you guys have any movie recommendations cause I have literally watched almost everything on there
G: how about on my block it seems like a good show to watch
Elle: ok then let's watch
I put on the show and went to sit on the couch for only two people and Anthony sat besides me, Kio was in the kitchen making popcorn. We were talking through the entire season 1 sometimes laughing at Monses faces when she would cry cause they were hilarious. I ended up passing out on Anthony's shoulder and before I went out completely I remember the blushing face he made. I woke up not the long after to a whisper match but I couldn't make out who the other person was, just Kio.
Kio: bro you seriously need to stop she's my girl
???: I don't think so, you guys aren't together so that doesn't make her your girl so don't go putting labels on things that aren't yours
I heard some footsteps walking away and then Kio came by my side and carried me to the guest bedroom where he tucked me in and left. When I checked my phone it was about 2:38am so I went back to bed.
A/N: hope you guys liked this chapter and I know in the beginning I said thanks for 27 reads but I checked again and I'm at 32 wooohooooo thank you guys so much. I really need some input although the story is not ending I just want your opinion do you think Elle and Kio should end up together or Elle and Jaden or do you want Kio and Elle to end up together but lots of drama in between or no drama please tell me. Also I made this chapter a little longer than usual so I hope you guys like that and tell me if you want longer chapters in the future cause I'd be glad to make them however long you want.
