I was scrolling through Instagram and I got a notification that someone followed I checked who was and it was guy named Kio.

I put my phone down and realized I was blushing and I felt bad because I was with Austin and I didn't know if I should tell him. I would just ask Katie when she got here and just at that I heard two honks and went outside.
It was only 7:28 so we decided to go get starbucks. I ordered a java chip frappuccino and Katie got a Pumpkin spice latte. "So Kat ( Thats Katies nickname btw) who are you taking to homecoming" Kat started blushing "Wellll theres this one guy I've been talking to his name is Jaden and things are going well so far" "yes girl we gon pull up with our mans looking hot asf" me and Katie burst out laughing as we got out of the car.
I saw Austin at his locker talking to the most popular girl in school Jade and I'm not gonna lie I was kinda jealous. "Hey babe" (I literally hate that word) "Hi E he said while pulling me in to a hug. I looked at Jade and she was giving me the dirtiest look but I didn't care because Austins mine not hers. "Ok I have to go to first period now" (which is science) "ok I might aswell go to class aswe-" He was cut off by Jade "Oh let's go together we have the same class" Austin look at me like he was asking for permission and I nodded my head yes. "Sure let's go" as they walked away Jade turned around and gave me a smirk like back off but shes just like that so I just walked to class.
As I sat next to Katie since we have the same class we just started talking and I told her about what just happened. She was taken aback and got kinda mad cause she was always overprotective about me ever since my mom died shes been there for me. "I can't believe that bitch who does she think she is?" "It's ok Kat I know Austin wouldn't do anything to hurt me I trust him" "I really hope so cause if he hurts yo-" "Katie please quiet down" "sorry mrs. Richards" Katie said embarrassed and I started laughing "is something funny to you Elle" "No sorry" I whispered and I looked at Katie and her face was smug and we both just smirked.
"So students today we we'll be having a new student here he is" My jaw literally dropped when I saw who he was. "Hi everyone my names Kio" he started looking around until his eyes laid on me and he smiled and sat beside me. "Hi so your the pretty girl I was talking to on insta?" "yep thats me" I said with a slight smile "Kio I know your new but that's no excuse to be talking in my class pay attention and as for you Elle you know how it works so out in the hall. Would anyone else like to join her?" Everyone stayed quiet until Kio raised his hand "Well then Kio I didn't expect that but you may go join her".
"Hey" Kio said while looking down at me before sitting down. "How'd you get kicked out?" "Oh she asked who wanted to join you so I said I did" "That's dumb" I said while laughing. We talked for a while and it was as if we've known each other since forever. "Hey Elle so I was wondering if you wanted to go get food sometime?" "No I'm sorry like I said before I have a boyfriend sorry if I rubbed off the wrong way" "No no just as friends" "Sure thing then" we exchanged phone numbers and just chilled. I told him I needed to go to the bathroom.
As I got close I heard some sexual sounds and I was about to turn around until I heard them say "Austin" so I burst in and saw Austin and Jade kissing. He whipped around so fast and started trying to explain himself "Baby its not what it looks like" Jade stepped forward and said "oh baby it's exactly what it looks like Austin was so done with your boring ass so he came to me and let me tell you he doesn't regret anything" I turnt around and ran until I saw Kio and ran Into his arms
"Elle what's wrong" "H-he was c-cheating on me with J-jade" "I can't believe him he doesn't know what a beauty he has and what he just lost" his words lit me up and made me feel a certain way and it wasnt bad it was good and I never felt something like that with Austin. He lifted up my chin and wiped my tears and pulled me back into a tighter hug before he pulled away and said I'll deal with this as he burst into the bathroom.
