Recap: out of nowhere I heard a crash coming from the downstairs window "what the hell" Elle wakes up shaking she's obviously scared "what was that?!?" "Don't worry Elle I'll be right back stay put"
Elles POV:
Anthony went downstairs and I heard a bang and as if something hit the floor. I got so scared so I hid under my bed all of a sudden I hear Austin?!?!? (Oop- 🤭) "hey Elle come out I just wanna talk" I heard some steps going up the stairs and I had to put my hand over my mouth to stop my heavy breathing from getting to loud. Then I heard my door open shit I should've locked the stupid door "baby I know your somewhere in here just come out please" then I heard another voice "hey boss where should I put the stuff?" "Not now you fool we need to find this bastard but for now tie up the boyfriend" "ok boss" boss? Stuff? And Anthony they got him somewhere I need to escape and get help before they hurt him more then they already have. I saw his footsteps leaving from under the bed and they went into the bathroom in the hallway. I need to think quick I looked up and saw the window yes! But it's two stories but a few scratches won't hurt anyone. I opened the window and slowly put one leg out and as I was going to put my other leg out someone grabbed it "gotcha" he started tugging on my leg but I wouldn't let him I fought back for the first time in my life. I'm so used to being pushed around but no more I am going to fight back.
Kios POV:
I know I said I'd get some rest but Elle hasn't seen my message and it's been 30 minutes somethings most definitely wrong she's always on her phone. I should go check up on her but I don't want to ruin her time with Anthony (you fool go save your girl) ok voice idk who you are but please stop commenting on my life (geez fine I was just saying). I'm going to go check on her I don't care if she's with Anthony I just need to know she's ok. I grab my car keys and a hoodie and make my way over there. I park at the curb so she doesn't see me all I need to know is that she is ok. As I approach the house I can hear screaming and muffled cries I run inside and I'm meet with a big guy but I can take him "who the fuck are you" "Kio Cyr and I'm going to kick your ass" he smilies like he dealing with a toddler but puts his hands in fight stance anyways. We fight and he throws a few good punches but I still win no one hurts my gir- friend just friends. I run upstairs and see Elle unconscious laying on the floor and Austins standing over her fragile body. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER" I say as I run up to him but I'm soon stuck dead in my tracks. "See Kio last time you got the benefit of the doubt I wasn't prepared but I am now" shit he has a gun what do I do. "See I've been waiting for this for a long time. I've been watching you over these past few weeks and what can I say she's downgraded" he starting move forward and I moved back until I was pinned against the wall "don't think I didn't see you watching me earlier your lucky I didn't do anything then" think think think what can I do. "You know what, I'm doing her a favor once I'm done with you she'll be safe" "uh your kinda the one with a gun" he pushed the gun on my belly and I flinched "don't interrupt me while I'm talking".
"O-ok" "your dangerous" "sorry to interrupt again but your the one with the gun" he chuckles "I'll let that one slide" "so what you gonna do shoot me?" He laughs again, I take advantage of the situation and and punch him out cold. I let out a deep breath, I run to Elles side and she's breathing and starting to wake up I hug her "it's ok I'm here now" she fully wakes up and her eyes widened "BEHIND YOU" she jumps in front of me just as Austin pulls the trigger "no no no NO NO NOOOOO" I watch as he runs away but I don't care all my focus is on keeping her alive "Elle stay with me please I-I love you" I pick her up bridal style and drive her to the hospital immediately I was crossing red lights and almost hit a few people but I didn't care she needs to make it and with all the blood she's losing I can't afford to play by the rules. I run into the hospital screaming like a mad man until they take her away and I break down crying when suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. It was Griffin (for you guys who don't know Griffin is a nurse irl and in this story as well) "hey man come here" he pulls me into a hug and I just let all my feelings out. "Why didn't she pick me why him" "I don't know man but what I do know is the she cares for you whether Anthony is in the picture or not" (speaking of Anthony we kinda left him at the house and idk what to do). "Thanks bro" "anytime now go home it's going to be a while until anyone can see her so rest up" he pats me on my shoulder "ok". I headed to the car but boy wasn't I going home, I was going to find that son of a bitch that did this to poor Elle he can't run forever and he'll feel 10x more pain just wait and see.
