"Renata, I am sorry! Let me buy you ice cream" Kyle pleads with me and Jake gives him the scariest look. If looks could kill Kyle would be dead right now.
"Renata, how about I rent the whole park tomorrow night...just the two of us" but Jake knows me better than him because we've been friends since high school. My eyes go wide at the opportunity and basically I've ranted about my dream date to ... well, Jake.
"Jake, please do! and maybe we should include Kyle here"
Realizing I've done it again, I cover my mouth. Please don't Jake, I love you but please don't. They both walk ahead of me and I check myself on my phone camera. I'm still good. Putting it away I catch up to find both of them at each other's throat.
"Can y'all not kill each other over me? Please, I'm begging you" I let out finally having enough of their measly little fight over me. "Jake, you can rent but only if you agree to take Kyle with us. Kyle gets ice cream while Jake... You and I go on a pretend date! Everyone's happy. Please don't fight!"
I drag Kyle back to the car and drive straight back to the apartment we are currently residing at. That same day I decide to go to a bar, my fave one across the street. Jake plus Kyle, this is going to be a hard decision. My oh my, maybe I could decide after this one drink. After drinking maybe 5 bottles, my head in a dizzy mode and illusion mode on also, I have a hard time differentiating fiction from reality. Whos carrying me? Kyle? Jake? Oh god, it's rolling right up my windpipe.
What's with all this noise? And why is it morning? Also, who put this on me? Do I even have clothes on?
"Renata, your finally awake. You don't remember anything from last night do ya?"
"Jake?!"
"It is me! Jake the great!"
