The next day I was walking down the hall with my nose in a book when I missed the last step of the staircase and feel right into a guy and dropped my book. I started panicking would he yell at me, tell I should have been looking where I was going? But instead he just picked up my book and offered it to me with and small smile and continued up stairs. I let out a small breath of relief.
"Hey are you alright?" I look up startled and there was Suho standing in front of me. I nod.
"So um can we talk somewhere?" I nod again and my heart starts to pound.
I follow Suho into a doorway of an empty classroom.
"I need your help. I found my mate but she's, well, she's human. I saw her in the woods hiking while I was patrolling and I think that she lives in a little house that's on the edge of our territory. And I don't know how to approach her because I'm afraid I'll lose control and scare her. And I can't ask anyone else because I don't know how Jongin and Jennie would just laugh at me for not being able to talk to a girl even she is my mate. So could you help me?" Suho says breathing a little heavy and looking at me earnestly.
"Sure. Just tell me what you need me to do and I'll try my best." I sign with a smile on my face.
I've never been asked for help before because nobody usually notices me and I'd be happy to help Suho because he seems like such a nice guy.
"Thank you thank you thank you. You don't how much this means to me. Do you want anything in return or..." Suho said beaming.
"No you don't have to give me anything at all I want to do this."
"Again thank you so much. So I was thinking after school we could introduce ourselves if that's ok with you." he said looking so excited.
"Yeah that's fine. Meet me outside?" I sign back giggling at the excited looking on his face.
"Thank you again." he said and gave me a hug and ran down the hall. I was surprised that he asked me for help and not any of his other friends.
It was the finally the end of the day and I was waiting outside of the school for Suho. I texted my dad telling him that I was going to the pack library to do a project and won't home until later so he wouldn't worry. I looked around but still didn't see Suho. I started getting anxious, what if he was setting me up and didn't mean it? What if he found someone else to help?
"Sorry I'm late I had to get away from Jongin who kept asking me questions." I looked up startled and Suho was standing in front of me looking sheepish.
"Oh it's fine." I sign.
"Ok follow me and we'll sneak into the woods." he said and started walking 'stealthily' and I quietly laughed. Once we got into wolves we shifted. Suho was bigger than me and was a sandy blonde color.
We ran for some time with Suho leading. Until we came upon a small house. We shifted back and started walking towards the front door. Suho wasn't facing me so I tapped his shoulder "Don't be lose control."
"I won't." We walk up to the front door and I knock. I was nervous. I didn't really like talking to new people but I would do it for Suho since he's such a nice guy.
A girl about my age opened the door, she had strawberry blonde hair and was wearing black leggings with a cropped hoodie.
"Um hello?" she said looking at us confused. I had written something out on my phone and handed it to her.
'Hi I'm Rosé and the guy behind me is Suho. We live in the woods as well and we saw that you moved here so we wanted to stop by and meet you.'
Once she finished reading it I smiled at her.
"Are you mute or deaf?" she said but then covered her mouth "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to say that. That was so rude. I'm sorry." she says looking really embarrassed.
'It's ok.' I quickly typed out. 'I am mute and a lot of people make that mistake. I can sign so that's how I communicate. But Suho is perfectly normal. But if you ask me he can be little shy and it's hilarious.'
The girl giggled and as she read what I typed out and looked up at Suho who I could tell was trying to hold himself back.
"Well I'm Tzuyu. It's nice to meet you guys come inside." Tzuyu says and we follow her through the door.
