Chapter 28

Jennie's POV

I lead everyone through the woods until we got into positions. I could already feel the adrenaline pumping. We watched as a bunch of woods ran past us.

"Group one is a go." said Jongin through the walkie. I groaned silently I wanted to get to the battle.

"Group two is a go." said Suho. I got ready, I gave the signal for everyone to shift and then we ran to catch up with the rest of the fight.

Wolves at each other's necks and they were dying all over the place but I couldn't tell which side was winning. I rushed the first enemy I saw and kept going. No one could touch me. I was quick on my feet and dodging every attack. I didn't want to brag but I was a pretty good fighter.

I saw my brother couple feet away and made my way over to him.

"Looks like your plan is working." I say through our mind link.

"Yup. They weren't expecting us."

The battle went on for a few more minutes until the few survivors surrendered and Jongin howled in victory and then everyone else joined in.

Afterwards Jongin announced that only 4 died and they will always be remembered for their service and that there was 19 injured. Which wasn't bad.

We were all talking outside when Suho and came running towards us with a frantic look on his face.

"Tzuyu gone." he said breathlessly.

"What!?" we all yelled.

"I don't where she is. I can't find her scent there's too much blood."

"Maybe she just went back to her house." I suggested.

Suho nodded and said that he would check and ran off. Jongin went to visit the families who lost someone and the injured. While I went back to my room to think about Rosé.

Later that I woke up to the sound of the alarms going off. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs and met up with Jongin and dad who were running out of their rooms as well. When we went outside there were wolves raiding the houses. And Jongin Dad and I ran off to help fight them off.

Rosé's POV

After my dream with Jennie I felt like I could survive this but that feeling went away as soon as Taehyung came back in to the room.

"Guess what little pup." he said with a grin.

"Lalisa said I could okay with you. Isn't that great?" he said with a grin.

I looked at Taehyung, he didn't seem to realize that I have been sharing dreams with Jennie which was good. And Lalisa must be the person who told Taehyung to give me the sleeping pill.

"Now, I'm going to ask you a question and you're going to answer it ok?"

I just stare at him trying not to let my expression show anything.

"Ok!?" he yelled and I flinched.

He must have took that as an answer and asked me "Did your mother give you any jewelry for a gift?" I didn't say anything.

Taehyung frowned "Bad pup you have to answer the question for this to work. For a punishment I get to cut you. But don't worry it's just going to be a little bit. I won't let you bleed out."

He took out a silver knife and cut me on the shoulder. I could tell it wasn't a big cut but I let out a gasp because of the silver.

"I hope that will teach you to answer me."

It kept going back and forth, he would ask me a question and he would cut me. The cuts were healing slower than usual but at least they were healing.

But soon there were so many cuts on my body that the healing process slowed even more. The pain soon became unbearable and I passed out.

When I regained consciousness it wasn't Taehyung but a women who I guessed was Lalisa.

"I am so sorry Rosé, I didn't think that he would go that far please forgive me." I look wary of her. What does she want from me?

"I am not going to hurt you Rosé. I just want to ask you a few questions. And I am not going to use violence." she said in a calming voice.

Her question was if I was left or right handed. I twitched my left hand and she walked towards me and I flinched but all she did was undo the silver band around my left wrist. I looked down at my wrist, I didn't notice the burn from the bands on my ankles and wrists anymore it was just a dull burning sensation.

Lalisa give me a piece of paper and said "Do not try anything or you will regret it." I stared at her. She chuckled.

"Will you answer my questions?" I scratched something on the paper and handed it to her.

"Good. Let's get started."

And handed back the paper that had one word on it.
