Chapter 3

The next few days were full of joy and excitement. The future UA students all gathered their things to move into their new dorm rooms and start the new school year. While Tsubaki was packing her bags, she couldn't help but daydream of her future, she always wanted to make her mother proud and give the best life for her family. Meanwhile, Rachel, Hiro, and Rudolphe were doing the same, packing their things for the dorm rooms.

As days went by, it was finally time for the new students to settle in their new homes for the school year. Because they're the four students who came in first and second place in the practical exam, they were all assigned in class 1-A, along with a few other new students. The crowd of students all gathered around a white tent that was set up in front of the dorm room buildings to assign which students go to which building and rooms. "Tsuki aren't you excited!!" said Daisy. A girl with wild hair nodded at her, "I suppose so but remember Dais we might not get the same class or same dorm location..." Daisy frowned at her negative view and dragged her to the tent to get their schedules. Rachel walks up to Tsubaki and waves in an attempt to overcome her shy tendencies. "Hey, did you pack your things?" Rachel asked. Tsubaki smiled brightly, "I did! Geez, I hate packing so much but I'm so excited to be here!"

After an hour, everyone was assigned to their buildings and dorm rooms and now it was time for everyone to get settled in and meet each other. Ironically, Tsubaki, Rachel, Hiro, and Rudolphe were all assigned to the same floor, both the boys and girl's dorms are beside each other. Everyone went into their rooms, starting to unpack and settle down until it was time for everyone to meet up again in the common room. Rachel heard the news about everyone meeting in the common area but dismissed it. She didn't really see a point in meeting more people. She wanted to be alone in her room and read a book while vibing to music. As Rachel was taking her contacts out she heard a knock on her door. It was Tsubaki knocking on Rachel's bedroom door, "Rachel? May I come in?" she asks cautiously while grabbing the doorknob and turning it slowly. Rachel panicked and grabbed her glasses turning away, "Uh sure... Come in.." she stuttered. While opening the door slowly, Tsubaki peeks her head through the small opening, looking for her friend. "Hey! Are you done packing? Let's go meet our new classmates!" yelling with so much enthusiasm. Rachel turned around looking at her with discomfort, " Uh I rather not... We will see them in class anyway..." She proceeded to take her glasses off to clean them. She turned around, her room was almost a traditional Japanese style house with a twist of modern. A large Puerto Rican flag was by her bed being used as a tapestry and a reminder of her heritage. Tsubaki huffed quietly, running her fingers through her hair while she thought to herself for a quick moment, "Aw come on, Rachel. It would be a good time to get to know them personally and make more friends other than Hiro and Rudolphe!" Examining her dorm room for a few moments, she admires the interior and noticing the Puerto Rican flag, "I love your room though. But please Rachel? We are in one of the best hero schools in Japan! We should make awesome memories while we are here!" Rachel freezes up attempting to look at Tsubaki squinting her eyes. "But I don't want to... I don't see the point in it..." she retaliated. Tsubaki lets out a frustrated sigh but attempts to convince her once more, "Why not? You seemed to get along with me. I'm sure you'll be able to with our classmates as well, we might have a whole new friend group too!" Rachel puts her glasses on and looked at her straight in the eyes, "What the actual fuck is a friend group?!" After her final attempt in convincing her small friend, she quickly swings her arm towards Rachel causing her to get drenched in water and her glasses falling off, "Alright, I gave you two chances to change your mind, Let's go!" She grabs her arm and races out of the room, heading to the common area. Hearing Rachel protest, "Wait where are we going?! Tsubaki!!" She had a look of worry as Tsubaki had her sit on the sofa. Everyone had already gathered, chatting up a storm. "We are going to meet our new classmates!" Tsubaki yelled excitedly. As Rachel sits down on the couch, Tsubaki bows to everyone and introduces herself and her friend. "Hello everyone! I'm Katsumi Tsubaki and this is my friend Hamato Rachel. It's a pleasure to meet you all!" Daisy gasped almost giggling, "Did you hear that Tsuki you and her have the same name!! I'm Sullivan Daisy! And this is my friend Nagachika Tsubaki!" As everyone was introducing each other Hiro and Rudolphe joined, being fashionably late. Rachel nudged at Tsubaki and whispered, "Who's Nagachika? And who is Sullivan? Are the boys here? I hear movement behind us..."
