All the agents had been on their laptops and on the streets, trying to figure out what exactly Knox Rakim has in store for Jimmy Garoppolo. So far, Rakim has been MIA since four months ago.
"This doesn't add up." Noah shook his head.
They were all currently watching the team practice, and still researching.
"The assassination attempt was two weeks ago. Knox has been MIA for a year." Thomas groaned.
"Unless Garoppolo lied to us," Alex said.
"No it's definitely involving Rakim. I looked back on the footage where they shot up the stadium, and it's definitely his team. Look at the getaway car, we all know that logo." Cassie rubbed her eyes and slid them her laptop.
"So he's been out of the field for about a year, he sends his men to take out Jimmy. Then they had to have gone to Vegas some time last year." Dakota said, pacing back and forth. "Why would he wait so long to kill him if the deal was that serious?"
"See, none of this is making any sense. We usually can figure out Knox's play by play, but something else is going on." Noah bellowed.
"We need to find out what kind of deal they made with Jimmy." Alex said. "Where's the blabber mouth?"
"On the sideline over there," Thomas pointed to Nick.
"Time for some funn!" Alex laughed and made her way towards him.
"Can I see the laptop?" Dakota asked Cassie. She went and sat by her, typing away.
"Hey!" Alex yelled at Nick. Nick seen her and jumped.
"Please don't pull out the knife again!" Nick ducked.
"I think the torch would be better." Alex smirked, which sent shivers down Nicks back. "But I won't if you work with me."
"What do you you want to know?" Nick sat down.
"When did you and your buddies go to Vegas?"
"Umm, about a year ago in the summer."
"And what hotel did you stay at?"
"Bellagio hotel and casino." Nick said.
"When in the summer?"
"I think the end of June?"
"You think?!"
"I don't remember!" He shrieked. "We went out a lot and we stayed for like two to three weeks. We always went out at ten o'clock."
"That's all." She smiled and walked away. "If we need any information, go for the weakest one." Alex smirked as she approached the group.
"What did he say?" Cassies questioned.
"Dakota, check the Bellagio hotel footage, from last year around June." Alex said.
Dakota quickly hacked into the Bellagio hotel files and security camera history. Shortly, she found the footage she was looking for. "Well there they are in the casino."
"There's Knox." Noah pointed him out.
"And theres the four stooges." Cassie scoffed.
"Go forward a bit," Thomas said. "There stop!"
Dakota paused the video and examined the picture. "What's that?" She zoomed in. "Look he's giving Jimmy something."
"What is that?" They all asked.
"It just looks like a key card." Noah shrugged.
"Keep playing it," Alex said.
Dakota pressed play and watched the full video, everyone eyes locked to the screen. They played it for ten minutes, watching where Jimmy and the rest went. After watching and switching to different cameras the five players followed Knox to his hotel room. Little did the mastermind know, there was a hidden camera in one of the pillows. The agency had planted one there since Knox used that specific hotel suite a lot. It's been there for over five years now. Unfortunately, there was barely any sound coming from the footage, even transcriptions couldn't make it out. All the group seen was the football players and Knox talk. Finally after what seemed like ages, they left his room. But Jimmy didn't walk with them.
