-NOTE-

Ok, look. I know most people are like "JUST GET TO THE SMOOCHING AND SMUT." No. This isn't that type of fanfiction. I don't even think they'll 'get it on' in this seires. Maybe next time. This fanfic is based on the latest lifetime of SNK and how Connie and Sasha progress in their relationship through childhood and adulthood. Hope you all understand. Now, read read read! :EDIT: Also, if I don't put NAME HERE's POV then we haven't switched characters. ;)

-END NOTE-

It's been three years since I've last seen Connie's face. He never called, never visited. He didn't like me. I should've just faced the facts. Being home schooled was better than I imagined it to be. I could invite my girls over after school to hang. I could sleep in. I could be free. A few more years passed, still no talk about Connie. I never asked my friends because, the one time I did they ignored my question completely. In other words, he was out of my life for good. He caused me enough trouble anyways.

"Sasha, we all want to ask you something." Ymir placed her hand on my leg. The girls jumped out their seats and went on all four, bowing down to me.

"Sasha, please join public school again!" They all shouted in unison. We were cracking up, it was the funniest thing.

"But really, Sasha. We want you to join public school again." Mina was behind my rubbing my shoulders. "Guys, it's the middle of the eighth grade, I can't just join suddenly. It doesn't work like that."

"Well, join next semester! It's not too far away! Christmas break is close and that marks the end."

"Yeah! Please, Sasha! Everyone misses you."

"Especially Con-" Mina slapped Historia in the nose. She whispers under her breath, "Shut up Historia. She just got over him!" I could overhear them.

"That's not my name anymore! It's Krista." We all rolled our eyes. "Wait, what were you saying about 'especially con'?" I was teasing with them, I knew they meant Connie. "Oh, nothing just, another person-"

"Connie still goes to your school?" It went silent. "Guys, it's ok. You can talk freely about Connie."

I could hear crickets from miles away. Did he do something? Was he...'wiped from the earth'?

"Connie's parents got divorced..." Mina looked to the side. "He's been diagnosed with depression. On the first day of middle school he..."

"He what, Mina?" I was scared to death.

"He tried to commit suicide."

Holy crap.

"He hung-" Mina was interrupted by my dad opening the garage door.

"Ow! Dad, shut the door it's soooo bright outside! My eyes..." I waved at the sun to scat. "You're all acting like vampires, get outside for a little bit." Our group groaned.

"Mr. Blouse with all do respect-" He shut the door on Ymir's face, locking it from the outside. She jiggled the handle to try and turn it but, nothing happened. "Well, we're locked in here for a while."

"So, is Connie still going to school? You never really answered my original question." I could see the despair written across their faces.

"Yeah, he's still going. But let me tell you, he's changed A LOT since the first grade, Sasha." She sarcastically wiped sweat from her forehead. "He's got a rockin' six pack. But, not as tall as most of his friends." A short Connie, oh, I never realized how much I missed him.

I needed to see him again.

A few days later

"Girls!" I saw them sitting at a lunch table. "OH MY GOD! SASHA!!" Mina came screeching my way. Throwing her arms around my neck, along with each other person who visited me frequently. One by one, they welcomed me back to public school. "Where's Jean? Marco?" Ymir led me through the halls to find Jean and Marco's lockers next to each other. "They should be clo- Oh, there they are."

I heard weird giggles and moaning coming from the end of the locker line. There they were, rubbing and smooching on each other. Jean has pushed Marco against a wall, Marco was holding Jean's cheeks in his hands. They were blushing madly.

"Sorry to interrupt but..." Marco peered over Jean's shoulder.

"Oh my god. SASHA!!" Both Marco and Jean nearly ran me over.

"We thought you were gone for good! Oh, it's so nice to see you again." It seemed as if it was an eternity before they let go of me.

"So, remember that conversation we had before I left Marco?"

"Oh, yeah. Turns out this chump was my match." Jean and Marco smiled at each other and Jean rubbed his nose into Marco's neck.

"You guys seem so happy together. I wish me and Connie would've gotten somewhere." It became silent again. I didn't know what to say again. Before someone tapped on my shoulder. I could hear someone behind me gasp for air.

"Sasha?! Is that really you..."

"Whose asking?" I slowly turned around to face him. He hugged me before I could get a good look at his face.

"I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt you. I thought I'd never see you again." I needed to find out who this was before I had to push him off.

"OK, can I see your face, please." He lifted himself off of me.

"Oh my god, Connie?"

"I'm never gone. I will always be with you."
