Levi's POV"OK, Tell me which dress you want me to wear for when you propose to me, Levi-bro." Propose?! Where did she get that idea? I started to turn a bright shade of red.
"Uh, what are you even talking about?!"
"Oh, come on. I see the bump in your back pocket. You're just waiting for the right moment." I reached behind me and grabbed the 'bump' in my pocket. I pulled out a small box.
"It's a pack of gum, Isabel. Not a ring." She smiled back at me.
"I know your whole plan, Levi. You're so predictable." She ran up to me. I took a step back. She threw the dresses on the ground and leaped into my arms.
"I know that you love me..." She wiggled around until she was comfortable in my arms. She laid her head on my shoulder.
"You couldn't hide it for too long." She kissed all around my jawline.
"Isabel, I wasn't-"
"I know you weren't going to propose. I just used that as a way to catch you by surprise. A way to make you hard." I did love her. It felt awkwardly right to kiss her. We had known each other for almost our entire lives. Was I kissing my sister, or my lover?
"This will be hard, I hope you know that. Farlan will feel like a third wheel."
"I'm sure he'll get drunk and have intercourse with someone on the street." She was exactly right about that. He wasn't home until 3 AM. We were both standing in front of the door. A stern look in our eyes.
"What're you guys doing up s-so late? Go back to bed." He giggled his way passed us.
"You said you'd be home by eleven. It's 3 AM." I grabbed his arm before he took to the kitchen. He shook his head.
"I met this girl and she got me good, Ha! I fucked her so-"
"Get to bed before I strip you myself and tuck you in." Isabel winked at me.
This is going to be fun.
Sasha's POV
As the days passed on, all I really anticipated in life was spending it with Connie. He would be the beginning and end of me.
"Hey, it's almost Christmas. Did you write down a list for your Saint Nick?" He chuckled, grabbing my attention.
"No, I think Santa knows exactly what I want for Christmas." I let my arms hang over his shoulders.
"Uh, yeah. I bet he does." He started to blush. Oh my god, I couldn't help but kiss him.
"You have to come and help me shop for Secret Santa on the 21st. Ymir is holding a party at her house while her parents are out of town." Ymir was always the one to volunteer to hold events like these.
"21st? That's tomorrow." He pointed at the calendar hanging on the wall behind us. We were in the garage helping my dad move some boxes into the house. We had moved a few months ago and my dad hadn't finished unpacking. The reason we moved was because I had begun public school again. We lived too far to drive everyday, I had to take the bus. Now, we were just down the street from Ragako High.
"Well, after school we can walk to the mall on Augusta Avenue with Mina and pick up some things."
"Where do you think we can get the money for-" I ran into my room to grab my purse, as Connie followed behind me. I pulled out two one-hundred dollar bills.
"Oh, I see." He tried to snatch the money from my hands.
"Uh, don't you dare. This is some savings that I'm willing to use on my closest friends." I stuffed the money back into my purse and placed it on my shelf.
"Well, we should finish UN-boxing, c'mon." Connie grasped my hand and led me back to the garage.
After school I met Mina by the front gate. She was jumping and signaling for me to walk over to her. Or, run.
"Have you see Connie yet?" I took off my backpack and set it on the ground in between my feet.
"I'm coming!" I heard him shout from across the street. He banged on the crossing button that was attached to the pole. He stopped and rolled his eyes in frustration. After waiting for the light to turn red he jogged over to us.
"Finally, OK. I'm ready whenever you are." As we made our way through the mall, I took notes on my phone of what I thought would interest each person. Connie stopped at an animal antiques store.
"Hey, look! I'm Jean!" He approached us wearing a horse mask.
"Jean would slap you for that." Mina flipped her pigtail as she turned away.
We also made our way to literal heaven. The Potato Factory. I started to tear up.
"Sasha, remember. We are buying things for other-" I ignored Connie as I shot up and sprinted towards the stand. I ordered a large bowl of mashed potatoes and potato slices on a stick. I quickly scarfed them down, craving more.
"That was $13.00, Sasha. Let's not waste too much on potatoes." Connie patted my back.
"You're right..." He was wrong. I loved potatoes more than life itself.
We were spending money by the minute. When someone found something that suited anyone else in the group, we got it. We were down to $54.99 before we decided to take our leave.
"I hope you didn't get anything for me. I don't want you to waste money like that." I bumped Connie on the shoulder, desperately carrying bags on my shoulders and hands.
"Don't worry... you'll like it." He smiled and bumped me back.
"Hey! Watch it j-" We stopped to see Mina lying on the concrete of the sidewalk, someone had trampled over her. Connie and I were stiff. It was someone we weren't expecting to meet anytime soon.
"R-Reiner?..."
