He would wake up and train, then eat, then train some more, then talk with Reyna (hoping to still find out on what had happened to Jason, the Son of Jupiter was far too powerful to be killed therefore he was somehow missing in action), then he would get some lunch with Dakota and Gwen (even if they were of the fifth Cohort, Dante loved hanging out with his fellow Centurions), then training (again), and then for his afternoon cup of coffee.
Dante was to look forward to Nico arriving later on that day. Hearing from his brother again after years had felt somewhat refreshing, especially since Dante couldn't check up on him after he had left... Lupa was quite forced on that in all honesty. Even when he was here in Camp, he was almost forbidden to find his younger brother; he was one of the best fighters here at Camp after all. Nico brought hope of redeeming himself for his past actions, how he let Bianca get killed by joining that all-girl band club or whatever it was called, leaving his ten-year-old brother alone to grieve. Stupid girls thinking they knew what was best for Bianca, he should've been more persistent. But looking back at the past and getting angry at her wasn't going to change anything, she was still dead...
And it was his fault for doing so...
With a cup of coffee in his hand, Gwen had stumbled onto the premises as she ran towards him. With Dante getting almost defensive as he protected the coffee from colliding onto him and Gwen. His eyes seemed to widen as Gwen stopped just in time, only to be confused with Dante's defensive stance over his coffee.
"Well, seems like self-defence classes are proving to be of more use to you Di Angelo?" She then said sarcastically to him, in which he gave her an annoyed stare as his reply. Gwen just merely laughed at his reaction. "Anyway, did you hear yet about the new kid?"
Taking a sip from his cup, his eyebrows raised as he seemed quite interested (one other thing Dante loved, was gossip. Bianca would do it all the time and it was entertaining, to say the least), Gwen was his daily gossip dealer after all, and he didn't even need to pay her. Maybe a few dates to the coffee shop, sure, but all this for the latest news in Camp. And this... this new kid business, it was common for new kids, not such a big deal, though the way Gwen had put it, something had seemed quite off about this 'new kid' from the first mention.
"Spill."
As they had walked, Dante had listened to the girl whilst he took in the refreshing sights of New Rome, a place he has called home for years now... before that, he couldn't remember where he had stayed, it was almost fuzzy in a sense, though he did recall snippets of his siblings. New Rome was something new, something modern and beautiful in a way, how families could live without fear in here, while children can grow up and go to school here (Dante wanted to apply for college, though he doubted he was allowed in due to his lack of intelligence). Gwen of the fifth Cohort had talked about her dream to go there, and maybe she will, after all, she did provide the Legion with years of service with Dakota by her side (that drunken bastard always seemed to light up everyone's lives).
