I snapped my eyes open when I felt the blinding rays of the sun pierced through the windows. I looked at my surroundings when I noticed something unusual. I blinked once, twice, thrice even when realization slowly dawned on me. THIS IS NOT MY FREAKIN' HOTEL ROOM! I hurriedly sat upright and realized that I shouldn't have done that when I felt the intense pain stirring in my head. Lintik na hang over to! Kaya ayaw na ayaw ko umiinom eh! I touched my head and I felt myself laying down on the bed again. Uminom ako kagabi, pero bakit ako uminom? I started recalling what happened yesterday at kung bakit ako uminom. Pool, red roses, phone call, Kirby, Kevin and....

Shit!

Did I just...Did I just share my horrible past with Kevin? Oh God, no! Ang tanga mo Annika! Sa lahat ba naman ng pwede mong i-share, bakit yun pang kay Kirby?! Ay bwiset! Feeling ko mas sumakit pa ulo ko nang maalala ko lahat nang mangyari. Ano kaya inisip niya saken when I told him about Kirby? Hindi naman siguro siya mandidiri saken diba? Damn Annika, why are you even bothered about his opinion of you? I was about to hop off the bed when I heard the door swang open. Napatingin ako sa pinto at nakita ko si Kevin na may bitbit na tray. Dun ko lang narealize na nasa room ako ni Kevin dahil sa manly ambience ng kwarto.

"Good morning, Marie." he smiled and I suddenly felt jittery.

Dug-dug-dug

Bakit ganun na naman reaction ng puso ko? Di kaya may sakit na ako? But that's impossible. He closed the door with ease before approaching me. He sat on the edge of the bed and carefully placed the tray on the bed. Bakit parang ang saya-saya niya ngayon? Umupo ulit ako at nagulat ako nang tulungan niya ako bumangon.

"S-Salamat." I uttered and nginitian lang niya ako ulit. I watched his every move at hindi ko alam kung bakit natutuwa ako na pinagsisilbihan niya ako. Para kaming newly-weds sa gawi niya. Newly-weds? Asa ka Annika! Pero this is weird. Bakit siya ganito saken? May nagawa ba siya saken mali kaya pinagprepare niya ako ng breakfast? Naramdaman ko ulit na mas bumilis yung pagskip ng heart ko. Oh no, this is not good. I can't be...No, no, no. That's ridiculous. 

"Breakfast in bed, milady." he grinned at me at siya nagtanggal ng takip sa plate. Naamoy ko kaagad yung aroma ng pancake, eggs and bacon. At napangiti ako dahil smiley face yung naging itsura nang pagkain. Para tuloy ayoko na siyang kainin dahil cute tingnan.

"Always start your day with a smile." I heard him say kaya napatingin ulit ako sa kanya. 

"Thanks again." I grinned. Ang sweet niya, at ewan ko kung bakit. I shyly looked at my food again pero hindi ko magawang galawin.

"Dig in. Ayaw mo ba?" he asked.

"No, I like it. Really. Kaya lang, baka ikaw hindi pa kumain?" 

"Don't worry about me. Kumain na ako."

"Okay, sabi mo yan ah." and I started to eat. Kaya lang, bigla ako naconscious. Sino ba naman ang hindi makoconscious kung may nanonood sayong kumain?

"Sure kang ayaw mo ko sabayan?" tanong ko sa kanya na nginitian niya lang ulit.

"Okay lang ako talaga. Kain ka na." sagot niya
