Chapter 7

Kendrick's POV

I wave back at her and drive back to the house. The outside was packed with cars and the music was on full blast. After finding parking space, I enter the lively house.

"Hey Kendrick, come with me upstairs." A drunk brunette says seductively wrapping her arms around my neck

"No thank you." I say removing her hands from me

I walk further into the house and bump into Ray

"Bro where have you been. It's been hard watching the place by myself. You know Seth is always a no help." He complains

"I was with Skylar, we just lost track of time." I blurt out

Maybe I shouldn't have told him that because the smirk that forms on his face is taunting

"You and Skylar huh?" He smirks "When did that happen, I thought you hated her." He sets the beers on the counter

"She isn't that bad but I still don't fully like her." I say

"You'll warm up to her soon, just give it time." Ray says handing me a beer

"Where is Seth anyway?" I ask as I open the beer bottle

"I don't know, the last time I saw him was out back." He tells me

Skylar's friends enter the kitchen and walk up to Ray and I

"Hey, glad you guys could make it." Ray addresses looking mainly at Galley or whatever her name is

"Thanks for the invite." Galley blushes

"Hey Ken." The blonde one says

She's kinda hot

"Hi." I smirk

"Karen, Gabby, would you guys like a drink?" Ray asks

Oh right Gabby, my bad

"Karey, Gabby, I'm so glad you guys could make it." Seth screams really loudly over the music

"Come Gabby, let me show you around." Ray takes Gabby's hand, dragging her with him

"Have fun." Karen tells her friend

"I wish Skylar was here." Seth says and I roll my eyes

The party goes on and everybody looks like they are having a good time. Seth, Ray and I are in the living room playing shot games with Mason, River, Bianca, Evelyn, Heather and a couple of other people

"Let's play truth or dare now, I'm tired of spin the bottle." Heather complains

"Fine, you start then." Mason tells her

Gabby walks in with a very drunk Karen and they take a seat next to Ray and I

"We are playing truth or dare, are you two in?" Evelyn asks

"Sure, we'll play." Karen slurs

"Alright, truth or dare Ray?" Heather asks

"Truth."

"Who do you think is the hottest girl in this group?" Heather smirks

He looks around before he stops at a particular female

"Gabby." He answers and all the heads snap towards Gabby who shifts uncomfortably in the seat her eyes wide

"How romantic." Heather rolls her eyes
