BrightWin
Bright knocked on Win's apartment door. He didn't even know whether Win was inside or not. He didn't tell Win anything about his arrival. But he needed someone. He needed a friend. A comfortable place to calm himself down for a little bit. He needed Win.
Bright almost gave and went straight to home when he heard the door lock opened. He saw Win in his comfy t-shirt and specs. He couldn't help himself but broke down at the moment. He hugged Win's lean body tight, leaving Win in confusion.
Win's hand were hanging in the air and another one was still on the door knob, he scrunched his forehead. "P'? is everything okay?" Win who a second ago was about to smile and greeted Bright who suddenly came can't hide his worried face now.
"No. nothing's okay." Bright paused for a second. "Just..., let me stay like this for a little while, okay?"
The door automatically closed with them both were inside the room when Win removed his hand from the knob and hugged back his dear brother. He stroked Bright's back soothingly. Bright was softened by the touch. Now he could controlled his breath a little bit more properly.
Bright slowly brought down his hands and ended the hugging session. Win who noticed the movement also did the same. He grabbed Bright's shoulders and pressed it encouragingly. He also checked Bright's face for any trace of tear drops or not. Fortunately, there was not a single drop of water there. "P' Bright, let's sit on the couch and I'll make you a cup of tea to relax, okay?"
Bright nodded weakly, that made Win couldn't help but kept on holding Bright's shoulder until they reached the couch. As if he would collapse any time now, if he didn't held his P's fragile body.
Five minutes later Win came back with a cup of tea between his hands. He passed it slowly to Bright before he sat down. Win waited for Bright to take a sip of the tea before he said, "Tell me when you're ready P'." Win smiled to Bright sweetly.
"You know what it's about, don't you?"
Win was stunned for a bit before he nodded.
"Who's side did you pick? Did you think I'm wrong?"
"I haven't pick any side P'. Not before I hear the full story."
"It's, it's her...." Bright let out a sigh. "my girlfriend started it. All of the conflict. Now everyone's pissed."
"Do you think you did anything wrong?" Win asked carefully.
Bright looked at Win, he thought it was doubt that he heard, but it wasn't. it was just a pure concern. "I didn't do anything beside being her boyfriend." He leaned on the couch while saying that with a long sigh.
"Then why were you concerned?"
"Win, she's my girlfriend. I'm worried about her too."
"Then meet her P'. Ask her how she's doing. Is she okay."
"It's not that easy. Since our series was out we decided to stay apart for a while. The problem makes it more complicated. If someone saw us together it will be bad for her, for me." He paused before continued, "For us." He looked at Win.
Win was stunned, again. He felt something that was unusual from that gaze. He felt something that usually Tine felt.
Win didn't understand. He didn't understand anything that Bright said. he though that Bright only makes it complicated by himself when it could be simple. Why came to his place, not his girlfriend's.
Win didn't understand because Bright didn't said it all. There were some things that he kept to himself. That these days he wasn't really missed her touch but Win's. He didn't really seek comfort from her but Win. He felt a lot safer when he's with Win, not her. That's why Win was the first person who popped in his mind when he needed a hug. That's why he came to Win's place. That's why he hugged Win tightly right when he saw Win's face.
But Win didn't get it at all. All he could do was supporting his P' with all his heart that was left from the broken pieces because of what he heard. He thought that Bright was really cared for his girlfriend, that's why bright held himself from meeting her even though he wanted to meet her so bad, when that's not the case at all.
Both of them was left with misunderstanding that no one can fix.
And all was just because of the unsaid words.
