Chapter One

Chase and I broke up two months ago. I've been lost ever since then. He was the only true person who made me feel happy, when I'm around him I feel like I can rule the world. But now, everything has changed. I can't even talk to him because we are in quarantine. I've thought about going back to the Hype House after the pandemic but, I'm scared no one wants me back. I've been stalking Chase's instagram all day and all I can stare at is his smile. That smile that made me fall in love with him.

2 MONTHS LATER:

It's 4 am and my phone ringing wakes me up. I pick up my phone to see it's Avani calling.
"Hello?"
"Hey Charli it's Avani"
"Yeah hey!"
"I have a question for you"
"Uh..okay?"
"Since the pandemic is over, we were wondering if you wanted to come back to the Hype House. You and Dixie?"
I couldn't believe it. They actually wanted me back. But, I didn't know how things were going to go.
"Yea sure I'll be there"
I took out my computer and booked the next flight for LA. It was tomorrow at noon. I had a feeling that this would change everything.
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
I rolled over and hit my alarm clock to turn it off. But then I remebered...I'm leaving today. I jumped out of bed and ran to the shower. I got dressed in 5 minutes. And was packed and ready to leave in 15. I rushed in the kitchen to find that no one was up except for Rosie, my dog.
I looked over at the microwave and saw it was only 8:45.
"Are you kidding me?" I mumbled to myself. I guess I really am excited to leave for LA. Maybe this really will be better for me..or maybe it won't.
"Good morning sunshine" I looked over to find my mom getting her coffee out of the cabinet.
"Hey mom"
"Are you excited to finally see your friends again"
I was about to answer until we got interrupted by Dixie on facetime with Addison.
"I can't wait to see you!"
"Me too! Talk to you later bye!"
A few hours passed and now I was sitting in the airport lounge with Dixie. I took sips of my Dunkin while daydreaming about what could possibly happen. Then they called our flight. I thought to myself..that this is really happening.
