I ran down the hall swung open the door to the balcony and looked around. Chase was sitting in the chair with headphones in. A tear rolled down his cheek. Sadness flooded my body as I approached him. I took my arms and wrapped them around his body. He wiped his tears and smiled at me.
"Oh hey" he said acting like nothing happened.
"Chase. What's wrong"
"It's nothing"
"No. Tell me."
"I was watching our old TikToks together. It just made me want to make you mine again."
He looked at me and grinned. I quickly kissed his cheek. He rose up from the chair. He told
me he had a surprise for me. He led me to his car, and started driving. It was a long drive. Chase blindfolded me about 15 minutes before we got there.
I finally felt the car come to a stop. Chase came and helped me out of the car. He picked me up and carried me somewhere. He let me down after a few minutes of walking. The ground was squishy and warm. I took my blindfold off. In front of me was the ocean. The sun was setting. There were lights and a blanket laying on the ground with snacks and a computer. There was no one on the beach except for us. He hugged me tightly without saying a word.
We sat on the blanket and watched Netflix for about 2 hours. Chase paused the movie and shut the computer.
"What? Is everything okay?" I asked.
"It's about to be" He smiled in a mysterious way and put his hands on my waist. He took a hand to reach in his back pocket. He pulled a little box out. He got on one knee.
"Charli..I have a question for you"
