As soon as I opened the note I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Then another. I didn't know Dixie was behind me. She read the note too. I called my mom and told her I was going back to 'LA'. I went to Life360 to check Chase's location. He can be pretty dumb sometimes. Luckily, his location was on. And he was in London! How am I supposed to get to London!! I went online and booked the fastest flight. The flight left in an hour. I rushed to get packed and get ready. As I was leaving the house I called Madi to ask if she could meet me there. She agreed. The flight was fifteen hours! So, I settled in for awhile. Early the next morning the flight landed. It was 2 am so I walked to the lounge and got coffee. I checked Chase's location. It said he was right down the street in a hotel. I ran outside and called a taxi. 5 minutes later I arrived at the hotel. There's no way I'd get Chase to tell me his room number so I'd have to pull a trick.
"Hi, Do you have a reservation?"
"Um no actually. My boyfriend's phone died so he couldn't tell me his room number. Would you mind telling me?"
"I'm sorry ma'am we can't give away that information unless you know the full name."
"I do. Cole Chase Hudson. He's 17 years old from Los Angeles California."
"Yes ma'am that's room number 308."
I made my way to the elevators. I was nervous. Chase most likely wasn't asleep because he never sleeps. I was thinking of what he might say or think. Or what if he refused to come home. The elevator made a ding as it reached the third floor. I carefully stepped out. I walked down the hall until I saw the door marked 308. I took a deep breath. I didn't hear anything behind the door. It was so quiet. I started to worry. But, I forced my hand to the door and knocked. I waited. I knocked again. And waited some more. Soon, I heard footsteps coming closer. The door handle shook and then the door swung open.
