Chapter Nine

CHARLI POV

I woke up to my phone ringing in my ear. I declined the first six until finally I rolled over and saw it was my mom.
"Hey, sorry I was sleeping."
"Hey honey, I need you and Dixie to come home and watch Rosie. Your father and I are going out of town for a week."
"You what!?"
"Charli, I'm not playing games with you. I need you home by tonight please."
"TONIGHT!"
"Yes! Charli tonight! And if you aren't on your way by tonight there are going to be severe consequences."
"Okay fine. Bye."
I threw my phone down on the ground and crossed my arms.
"Maybe I can go with you?" said Chase in a sleepy voice.
"Yeah! I'll text my mom."
-Hey mom I was wondering if maybe chase could come home with us? please?
-Chase?
-Yes...
-I'm fine with that but I don't want any drama Charli!
-Yes ma'am
-And if you can bring Chase tell Dixie she can bring Griffin.
-Okay! Thanks! Love you!

After an hour Dixie, Me, Chase and Griffin were all ready for our flight. Chase has never been to our house so I was excited for him to come and see it. And another good thing is that we get the house to ourselves for a week. So, that'll be fun. The whole plane ride home Dixie and Griffin were listening to music and Chase was sleeping in my lap. I wondered what we all would do in a week by ourselves. I thought about maybe inviting Gemma over. I haven't seen her in awhile. But, at the same time, Chase was here. And I wanted to spend time with him too. I then remembered that my parents haven't seen Chase since the breakup..so it'll be weird. Our flight landed and we all got off. Dad was already waiting for us in the lobby. He greeted Dixie and I with hugs. And Griffin with a man hug. When he saw Chase I got a little nervous. Chase paused for minute until my dad stepped foward and hugged him. "Ayy! There's the Huddy!!" Chase's pout turned into a smile in seconds. I felt relieved that my family excepted Chacha again.
