LUCA

20 minutes passed since Azalea went to the powder room.

What's taking her so long?

I waited for another 5 minutes before deciding that she needs to get her ass back in my office this instant.

I stood up from my chair and marched out the door.

As I approached Violet, she seems to fidget in her seat and when I noticed her avoiding my gaze I immediately knew something was wrong.

In any regular days, when I step out of my Office Violet would do anything to get my attention, but this time she seems to be doing the exact opposite.

"Where's my wife?" I asked her straight to the point knowing too damn well that she knows where Azalea is.

She didn't answer me, instead she started saying sorry which made me angrier by the second.

"cagna! (bitch!) where is my wife?!" I practically growled and she pointed towards the storage room shakily.

My heart dropped.

I ran, no I sprinted towards the storage room.

No!

The storage room locks itself from the outside, meaning, you can never open it from the inside, the temperature there can reach up to -20°C  the lowest, if she's been gone for at least 25 minutes...

I started to break into cold sweat.

No it can't be!

The moment I reached the door I literally pushed it open but it won't budge.

What?!

Something might be blocking the door from the inside or something got... stuck.

I pushed again but it still won't budge.

I was growing more annoyed as seconds passed and with all the strength I could muster I kicked it down.

The door bursted open creating a loud bang as it hit the wall inside at the same time a butcher's knife fell to the floor making a clanging sound.

So that's what was stuck.

I marched inside the room immediately, searching for the woman I call my wife and what I saw inside almost had me weak in my knees.

Azalea was there, her body limp as she laid on the cold floor, her face pale, her breathing slow and shallow and... Blood, everywhere. Her blood!

I felt my stomach flip when I saw where all the blood was coming from.

Her wrist! She cut her wrist!

I ran to her side, lifting her body up from the cold ground and started sprinting down the hall.

"VIOLET, RING THE BELL!" I yelled.

Immediately, a loud alarm filled and echoed in the entire building.

And just like that, the entire company knew what was happening.

5 seconds in and I started to hear ambulance coming our way.

I entered the elevator and the moment I stepped inside, it already knew what to do, it dropped from the 60th floor down to the ground in less than a minute.

When it opened I ran again, everyone knew the drill, they already cleared down a path for me to run into and the moment I stepped out of the building, medical professionals were already there assisting me.
