The moment his lips came in contact with mine, I swear I wanted to gag.

With all the strength that I could muster, I pushed him away.

His face held pure shock.

I wiped my lips with the back of my palm cursing under my breath.

"Did you.. Did you just wiped my kiss?" he asked like he did not believe what he just saw.

I glared at him.

"Who are you even?!" I snapped at him and his eyes widened.

For a minute he just stared at me, shock still evident in his eyes before he started to laugh, really loud.

Why does his laugh sound so attractive?!

"So the rumor is true! You really don't remember anything!" he smiled at me.

I didn't answer him, instead, I raised an eyebrow in his direction.

"Wow! So I'm back to square one? That's harsh!" he asked, more to himself than to me.

"What?!" I asked, making sure to sound annoyed.

"I guess I am huh?" he said, shaking his head before turning back towards me.

"Well then, Hello! My name is Nicholas and I am your fiancé," he said, offering his hand and smiling so purely like a motherfucking angel.

Now it was my turn to laugh.

"Yeah no. I'm not falling for the same trick again, try harder bastard," I said catching him off guard.

"What?" he asked, confused, drawing his unshaken hands back to his side.

"Last time, someone introduced himself to me as my husband and it turned out to be a lie, try a new trick will you?" I said crossing my arms on my chest.

He looked so confused as he stared at me with his beautiful baby blues.

"I..what do you mean, Thea? You married someone?"

Well, so much for being attractive, this one right here is a little dumb, I bet someone as perfectionist and precise like Rosalie would lose their minds talking to him.

I waved my hand in front of him in a dismissing manner before I started walking towards the door.

"Thea!" he called out to me before I was able to walk out.

I stopped and turned my head slightly to him.

"What made you hesitate?" he asked.

This time I turned to him completely. "What?"

He stared walking towards me, stopping at a good distance before staring at me.

"You never miss a shot." he simply said, no hint of playfulness in his voice, his eyes dead serious before he started walking again.

He pat my shoulder once as he passed by me before heading out the door.

Dinner started very awkward.

I didn't know if father is still mad at me for missing the shot or not so I decide to stay silent and wait for him to start a conversation, and he did.
