Flug's pov

Flug had been working extremely hard for the past few weeks. He was finally caught up in deadlines and was not going to stop now. Sure, Blackhat would still yell at him to work harder or faster, would still insult him, and sometimes hit him. But it happened less and less the more he worked. So he was determined to keep working to keep his boss happy.

But he was so tired. He wouldn't leave the lab to eat or sleep. Not even to change clothes and shower. The only thing he ingested was coffee. Cup after cup of coffee and nothing else until 505 started to bring Flug food every so often. It was a little weird when 505 would visit, he would act odd or do something that didn't seem right, but Flug just told himself it was just his sleep-deprived mind playing a trick on him.

After Flug delivered the stack of papers to Blackhat he went back to the lab and slumped in his chair. His body hurt so much, begging him to rest. He felt so weak, he hadn't eaten since yesterday. And he felt so filthy, he hadn't showered in so long. His clothes felt like they were fusing to his skin. His paper bag was damp and greasy from his sweat.

He just wanted to rest. For just a little while. A small nap wouldn't hurt. Would it?

Against his better judgment, he laid his head on his desk and was fast asleep before he could give a second thought.

Flug woke up with a headache. An annoying beeping was going off and Flug guessed that that was what woke him up. Flug looked around the lab, his sleepy mind slowly catching up to him. He realized the beeping was coming from the coffee machine timer. It would go off every two hours so he could get the freshly made brew.

Flug stretched his tired muscles, they ached in protest. He looked at the clock on the wall, it was an hour and thirty minutes later...

Crap!!

He fell asleep and now he was behind on his progress!!! He could have missed calls with clients!! Or left machinery on and destroyed the lab, again. Or Blackhat could have seen him sleeping.

Crap crap crap crapcrapcrapcrap!!!!!!

Flug sprang out of his chair and ran around the lab like a headless chicken, which is what he was afraid would happen to him, as he checked everything in the lab. Nothing was broken, causing mayhem, or stolen. So that was good.

Blackhat wasn't torturing him so that was a bonus. Guess everything was okay. Dementia wasn't due to return from her mission for a few more days so he didn't have to worry about her yet. Everything was good! All he had to do was catch up and no one would know what happened.

So Flug went back to work.  He began to do a security program check and perimeter scan while the program was temporarily turned off. Everything was in order. He moved on to inventory to see what supplies they were running low on. Flug answered a few calls, set up meetings, and negotiated with villains off and on. The last thing he had to do to catch up is do a villain/ civilian/ hero update.

Flug made a program to collect information from everyone one considered as a threat, Ally, or lower. He kept tabs on every person's social life and kept it all saved in a program that would spy on everyone and separate the information into their separate file. The information varied in recent residence of homes, family trees, occupation, business salary, and social rankings.

The program was a huge project for Flug; an extremely complex program that constantly changed to remain undetected by heroes or hackers.

Flug was the only one who could access the program. As he was going through updates on people's files he came across a new file that wasn't filled,  and it was odd because they didn't seem to be a newly born infant. The program was only able to collect very, very, little information about them within a month.
