The Promise (Keefe's POV)

Hello to all those amazing people out there that decided to ready this story! As you can tell, this will be a Sokeefe story. This is my very first story on Wattpad that I am in the process of making so if I make any mistakes, you are more than welcome to point them out. Also I will be trying to post a chapter every time I have a chance. I will try my best to stop writing author notes so you can get with the story. Also...... I can't wait for Unlocked!!!! I have many theories that I am willing to share on separate story meant for just Unlocked. Warning, I will be kinda mean to Fitz and make him act like a psycho in the beginning but trust me, he will get a lot nicer as the story goes. So sorry to all those Sophitz shippers out there, (Sorry not sorry😁). It is just that I kind of despise Fitz because he shouldn't be with Sophie. Sorry, I like to ramble on and on about how I hate Fitz but I am going to stop so we can get into this story. One last thing, I do not own amazing characters, the one and only amazing Shannon Messenger does. Sorry for the short chapter but now, onto the story!!!!!

"Yo Hunkyhair," Ro called, "When are you gonna finally admit your crush on that girl?"
I walked into my room after pulling a prank on my dad.

"When the time is right," I said as Ro rolled her eyes, " I don't want to rush it because if I do, I will mess it up and it will all be over."

Honestly, I don't know what to think about my best friend Fitz anymore. It is like he wants me to feel this way, knowing that he will always be the Golden Boy and I will always be the one with Mommy dearest and Daddy issues and he will always get what he wants.

I mean, not to be the rude or jealous one here but, why didn't he check with me if I was okay with Sophitz? And the worst part about all of this is that even Alden is telling me to back off. He has always been like a father to me, comforting me in rough times like this, but now, I am not sure about that anymore.

"Helloooo?" I shook myself out of daydreaming and looked up. "You still alive there?"

I mumbled "No." Ro sighed as she sat on my bed and patted the spot next to her as I took a seat. She looked at her painted nails as she said "You know, just because Fitz is dating her doesn't mean you can't win her over. Honestly, I have been waiting for Ms. Obvious to finally realize that Golden Boy and his stupid teal eyes is too good for her and only wants her because of her power."

I gagged, every time I thought of Sophitz I wanted to throw up. But, even though I will never be loved by Foster, I will still love her and take care of her no matter what.

"Hey Hunkyhair?" Ro said,
" Yes," I mumbled, "Seriously though, promise me that no matter what, you won't give up? You still have a chance to win her heart over that Golden Boy."

Yeah right, every time Sophie saw Fitz, I could feel her emotions from across the world. But I still said "I guess,"

And from that moment on I made a promise to myself, that no matter how hard it gets to watch Sophitz, *gagged*, I will still be there for her, not to be the hero, just a friend to comfort her in rough times, until she was ready for more. (;
