Open Training grounds - Normal POV
(Y/N) and Shinra followed Kaga and the other instructors to the open training grounds. They positioned themselves opposite each other, concealing their emotions.
"You know, Shinra... If you want to throw in the towel, I can graciously accept your defeat", Shinra returned a smirk to (Y/N).
"Hell! You know I won't, (Y/N)!"
"If so, come at me, Devil."
Shinra uses his ignition powers to rush towards (Y/N), but she easily sidesteps and draws her sword. Flames blast from under her shoes as her sword points towards Shinra, only to clash against the metal guards on his gloves.
They pull back and rush towards each other again, clashing repeatedly, causing sparks to fly all over the field.
As their duel continues, Kaga, Ishigami, and their squads watch with amazement.
"So... this is how fire soldiers fight, huh?" Kaga said under his breath while a smirk appeared on his lips.
"Yeah, sort of." As Obi watches his subordinates spar, clashing metal echoes through the field, but neither breaks a sweat.
"Do you have a name for their powers?" Soma asked Obi as he nodded.
"Yeah. You call it pyrokinesis, but we called it ignition ability." Obi confidently narrated the scene where (Y/N) expertly repelled Shinra's fiery kick with her sword swirling with ice and landed a powerful punch engulfed in flames on Shinra's cheek.
"So, (Y/N) has dual abilities? Is this common?" Obi shakes his head, indicating a negative response, while Ishigami poses a question.
"It's sporadic for a fire soldier to have dual abilities. Not only does my daughter have dual ignition abilities, but she's also a compound fire soldier."
"What do you mean by compound fire, soldier?" Ayumu questions, clearly interested in (Y/N).
"A fire soldier is both a 2nd and 3rd-generation like Shinmon Benimaru and my daughter," Obi explains patiently as the instructors listen carefully.
(Y/N) sheathed her sword as Shinra looked at her, clearly confused as her right hand was wrapped in flames as she took her stance.

As (Y/N) clenched her fist, her eyes glowed with bright intensity, activating her second-generation powers. She brought her fingers together, and flames began to dance around him, forming a circle. Shinra jumped out of the way just in time as (Y/N) released the flames, causing a small explosion.
"What the hell was that?!" Shinra was taken aback and stared at (Y/N) with an expression of disbelief.
"My secret weapon."
"(Y/N)! Shinra! That's enough!" Obi yells as (Y/N) and Shinra part and bow together.
"That, gentlemen, is what a compound fire soldier is," Obi finished speaking, while Y/N looked at him with a perplexed expression resembling a "What the hell, old man?" look.
"Oh! now I get it!" Soma's face lit up with a disingenuous smile as he exclaimed.
"What did you get?" Soma smiled brightly at Goto as he approached.
"A compound fire soldier is a pyrokinetic who wields both 2nd and 3rd gen powers, making them stronger than regular fire soldiers," Soma explains while the other instructors nod in agreement. "Why couldn't you tell us that before, you stupid old man?!" (Y/N fumed as she made her fingers into a halberd, creating an invisible line that caused a sudden gust of hot air to blast Obi across the field.
The instructors were amazed as Shinra stared at (Y/N) this time.
"What was that?!" Shinra is filled with excitement as (Y/N) flashes him a sweet smile.
"Oh, that? That's one of my special moves from the Kai Chop form."
"What the hell did they teach you in Hokkaido?" Shinra remained quiet and mumbled the question, indicating her discomfort. (Y/N) avoided discussing the unpleasant experience.
"(Y/N)!" As Obi ran towards her, she turned and crossed her arms.
"What now?" Obi flashed his pearly whites at his daughter, and (Y/N) let out a frustrated huff.
"Company 7 is participating in the rookie games!" (Y/N)'s eyes widened in surprise as Obi exclaimed.
"Company 7?" The other instructors and Ishigami appeared somewhat perplexed, as Ishigami inquired with a puzzled expression.
"That means Shinmon Benimaru will be here. The captain of Company 7. (Y/N)'s husband."
"You got married?!" Soma exclaimed as (Y/N) nodded casually.
"It's not much of a big deal. Anyways, we got more pressing matters." Obi scratched his head and let out an awkward laugh as (Y/N) glared at him with worry.
