A figure dressed in a long black dress turned out to be a hairless green snake wearing black lipstick and eyeliner, and she also has thick eyelashes.

"Hello!" she greeted with a huge smile.

"Uhh, hi?" the teenage girl said slowly.

"You must be new here," the snake girl think. "Did you just moved here?"

"Kinda?" the human answered bitterly.

"You don't look happy about it," the snake said noticing the human's expression on her face.

"It's because I'm not," the human girl muttered upsettingly. "I didn't choose to come and live here! I was forced to! My parents thought it was a good idea to live in the woods, but I don't like that idea! I rather be back in the city with my friends!"

The human was sadly miserable having to explain all of this to a random stranger on a tree, especially if that person is happen to be an animal.

"Geez, that must've been rough on you to leave your friends behind," the snake said feeling bad for the human. "But hey, Littlebark is an awesome town! I can be your friend if you want me to," she added happily and eagerly.

The human looked down sadly. Then the snake girl dropped herself off from the tree branch and landed. She then straighten herself up.

"My name's Natasha! Who must you be?" she asked.

"Olivia," the human answered.

"Nice to meet you, Olivia," Natasha said with a welcoming smile. "You know, out of the few humans here in Littlebark, we never have one as a goth around here. You must be the first to move in!"

"Okay?" Olivia said slowly.

Natasha continued to stare at the human girl out of interest.

"Say, are you into darkness too?" she asked her.

"Yes?" Olivia answered.

"Cool! Maybe we really can be friends. We can stick around together, hang out and stuff," Natasha suggested eagerly.

Olivia suddenly react to this idea, which was a heartwarming sort of feeling.

"You mean it?" Olivia wonder hopefully.

"Course we can, girl! We're both gothic, aren't we?" Natasha replied gladly.

"Yes," Olivia said simply.

"Guess we're now friends, dear Olivia!" Natasha said happily. Then she laughed. "Anyway, since you're new here, you should probably check out the whole town, you know, meet the folks and all. I can show you around if you want me to."

"Sure, I guess," Olivia said.

"Awesome! Lets do it!" Natasha replied with high spirits.

Both girls went to town. There are a lot of things going on in Littlebark. There are town people doing fun stuff and kids hanging out in the woods.

"Hey, Jeremy!" Natasha greeted.

"What's up, Natasha? Who the girl following you?" Jeremy, the huge mushroom man, asked.

"This is Olivia. She just moved here," she tell him.

"Oh, hello Olivia. Welcome to Littlebark," Jeremy greeted.

"Hey," Olivia said. "Who are you supposed to be?"

"Jeremy is this weird mushroom guy, but he's pretty cool," Natasha whispered quietly to her. "Come on, there more people to visit," she added loudly.
