"Hey, Natasha!" one of the goth girls, an owl, had greeted.

"What's up, Lori? What it is that Nightshade call in a meeting for?" Natasha wondered. "What is it about?"

"Who knows? She never tell us in a text message," Lori said shaking her head.

One of the other goth girl, an imp, noticed Olivia.

"Who's that human girl standing next to Natasha?" she hollered out to the others.

She went up to Natasha and asked "Did you bring her here?"

"Of course I did, Phoebe," Natasha answered. "She happen to be a goth too, if you must know!"

"Cool, but we never seen her before unless she's new in town," Lori was thinking.

"She is new in town," Natasha said.

"Hey," Olivia greeted.

"Her name is Olivia, everyone," Natasha tell the other girls. "She's new in town."

The goths introduced themselves.

"My name's Lori Rhoads," the owl tell her. "Since when did you and Natasha meet?"

"Just yesterday," Natasha answered. "She was feeling down when I first saw her wandering around the woods, and soon after that we became friends. And her parents are totally cool when I first met them too!"

"Yeah, she cheered me up a lot and I was happy for it," Olivia said with a smile.

"Nightshade definitely need to meet you, girl! She's the leader of this clique," Natasha explained.

"I'll go get her!" Phoebe reply as she walk off to go into the house.

"So is Nightshade some kind of a super goth?" Olivia wondered.

No one answered her, but she wasn't bothered about it. Most teens never notice her except her friends back in the city, in which she still misses dearly.

The door opened and a rabbit wearing a long robe appeared. She has long black hair with dark red highlights on the bangs. Her ears was dyed red with a black zigzag on each ear. She immediately noticed Olivia.

"So it's true! There's a human girl within our presence," she announced.

Her voice was high pitched, despite her gothic appearance, and it doesn't sound at all dark and gloomy. She appeared Olivia in a gothic manner.

"So you're the one they called Olivia," the rabbit said slowly.

"Yes?" Olivia answered.

The rabbit girl, who what the other goth girls called Nightshade, took a closeup look at her.

"What is this?" Olivia was asking as the rabbit looked at her from each angle.

"Hmmmm," Nightshade think. "It appeared you have the personality of a goth. Oh, yes, I can sense your inner gothic self! Yes, yes, you seem like you should belong in our gothic circle!"

Nightshade was smiling with excitement.

"These girls of this clique call me Nightshade. I am the leader of this group, the gothic clans, and the souls of the night," Nightshade said. "But don't fret! We do have our souls inside us, otherwise we would be the soulless group of dead girls haunting people of Littlebark."

"Wow, that's dark," Olivia said with a smile.

"True, Olivia, we're very dark girls," Nightshade said with a laugh. "You're definitely perfect for our clique, but of course, you must go through the initiation in order to be one of us."

"There's an initiation?" Olivia asked.

"There is, yes," Nightshade answered gravely. "Meet us again at midnight. We shall make you a member of our group!"

Olivia smiled, knowing what this was about to be a very good evening for her.

Around midnight later.....

Olivia head to the goth hangout place alone. She had been looking forward to the initiation since Nightshade had told her about it. She reached the old abandoned house in the forest where Nightshade was waiting by the front door.

"Hey, where are the other girls?" Olivia wondered.

"There're waiting in the meeting room," Nightshade answered. "They were eager for you to become a member, but first, you must pass the initiation in order to join our clique. Follow me."

Olivia went in the old house and followed her into a room, which looked pretty fancy compared to the hallway they was entering. There's a table with a black goblet and a glass jag full of red liquid.

"Let us begin the initiation with The Sacred Vow!" Nightshade announces boldly. "Take out your hand," she added to Olivia.

Olivia hold up her hand over the table. Nightshade take out a thick black shoelace, hold up her own hand, place it onto Olivia's, and then tie the shoelace around both hands.

"The String Of Trust had been placed! Olivia The Gloomiest, do you pledge to become loyal to the clan?" Nightshade tell her. "Will you show us you are capable in trusting me, to do the goth bidding, and swear to these terms?"

"I shall," Olivia said.

"And whenever I request for you, should you do so?" Nightshade tell her.

"I shall do so," Olivia said gravely.

"And lastly, shall you spread around darkness to the ones who stare you down, should you be willing to be dangerously cold to do so?" Nightshade tell her lastly.

"I will be the most coldest to do so!" Olivia said forcefully.

Nightshade then tap around Olivia's hand and hold it open as if she was doing magic.

"The vow is complete!" she announced to no one but herself and Olivia. She remove the black shoelace. Then she grab the black goblet and the glass jag of the red liquid. She dump the liquid into the goblet gently, then placed the jag back on the table.

"There's one last thing to do to truly become one of us," Nightshade tell Olivia. "You must drink The Blood Of A Thousand Dark Omens."

She passed the goblet over to Olivia. Then Olivia drink the whole thing down. The red liquid was, in fact, not actual blood, but fake blood to make it look real. It was made with water, sugar, and both red and green food colorings. Olivia put down the goblet.

"Well done, Olivia The Gloomiest. You have pass the initiation," Nightshade said with a smile. "You are officially one of us now. Let us tell the other members in the meeting room. Follow me."

Olivia followed her to a large room on the other side and they went inside where the other girls were talking about whether or not Olivia would become a member.

"The initiation is complete!" Nightshade announced to the girls. "She's one of us!"

Olivia was smiling knowing that she belong with them now. The goth girls were pretty happy for her.

"We shall meet again next midnight for the meeting since we didn't get around to it earlier today," Nightshade informed the others.

The girls leave the old house and went home before anyone noticed them. Olivia was telling Natasha about the initiation she had to pass and how cool it was. Natasha was pretty enthusiastic about her finally became a part of the group because she was hoping to become her second best friend if she was a member of the gothic clique. If this was the case, Olivia would be pleased, but there was a drawback. Would Ginny like the idea of Olivia becoming Natasha best friend? Would she just ditch Natasha and find someone else to be her new best friend, or would she be alright with have two goth girls as her best friends? Only time will tell soon enough.....
