Chapter Six: The Sewer (Part Two)

   ~Rileys POV~

         Splash, Splash, Splash. Aedan and I were walking in the sludge trying to find the others. The very disgusting sewer sludge was getting all over me and i just wanted to throw-up! It was way to dark to see far but Aedan's light let me see in close in front of us.

   After walking awhile the sludge started to seem like it was thickening. I moved slower but Aedan seemed fine. So i persisted as best as I could to keep up with him. I grunted trying to keep up.

   "What the heck is in this?! Frickin' gallons of blood?" I said still grunting. When I said that Aedan seemed to jump a little but i didn't question it.

   We walked to a darker area which made it worse to see. I was about to say if Aedan can make his light brighter since I couldn't see anything anymore but right when i was about to say something I heard a crack under my foot. "Huh?" I inured as I keeled down to see what it was. I felt the thick sludge under my hands as I searched what my foot crushed. since I was so close to the ground my eyes were starting to get used to the darkness. When they finally did I realized why the sludge was so thick....it wasn't sludge at all. There was so much red and it was so thick I realized that the so called sludge...WAS BLOOD! AND WHAT I STEPPED ON WAS A SKULL! THERE WERE SO MANY SKULLS IN THE BLOOD!  

   "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed in terror as I saw the terror of the dead human body's sunken in the water. I fell back trying to get up and splashed in the blood that I was now covered in.

   "W-WHAT IS THIS?!" I screamed getting up. Aedan just stood there staring into the darkness.

   "AEDAN THERE ARE DEAD BODY'S IN THE WATER AND YOUR JUST-" I was about to say but Aedan interrupted me. "Shhhhh...I can see what killed them!" he whispered. I looked at what he was talking about and saw it! well...some of it. All i could see were yellow eyes. Then they vanished. "Huh?" I questioned trying to stay quiet. I could hear whispers and them what seemed like very faint children's laughing. I stepped back and tripped. "Oof!" I said as I opened my eyes. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed unnaturally as I saw the eyes. Those dark yellow eyes. "hahahahah" I heard as i started to black out.

                                                                  ~Francesco's POV~

        Me and Tyler were walking around still trying to find the others. After walking around for awhile I heard a very loud scream. But not just any scream, RILEY'S SCREAM! I grabbed Tyler's hand and pulled him as I ran faster then I ever had. I could feel cob webs and spiders crawling on me but I just brushed them off and ran. I could tell Riley was near, I could just feel it in my gut. After running for what seemed like forever I heard another scream. It was still Riley's but it was super loud...louder then I've ever heard. I knew she was in danger and it seemed like my legs moved way faster.

   "RILEY!" I screamed as I seemed like I was running faster then Aedan using magic. I huffed and puffed as I got extremely tired but I cant give up now! the sludge got way thicker then it was a long time ago. I slowed down a Little but not enough to make me lose Riley. After running for a few minutes I felt my feet stepping on to loose metal. I tripped an fell.

   "Francesco are you ok?" Tyler asked helping me up.

   "Yeah i'm fine." I replied.

   "Come on lets-" I was about to say but then the metal under me dropped.

   "A TRAPDOOR!" I exclaimed. Me and Tyler were falling to our death!  

   "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" We both screamed as we saw the floor. I saw them both!

   "RILEY! AEDAN!" I yelled hoping they would hear me. they both looked up and saw us. They both got up with excitement.

   "FRANCESCO! TYLER! YOU'RE HERE!" Riley screamed with joy. Right when we were about to hit the ground we stopped as if gravity froze. Then we dropped. "Ow..." I blankly said as I got up.

                                                                                ~Normal POV~

        "Where are we?" Tyler curiously said as he looked around. They were in a very dark room where you couldn't even see the walls.

   "I dont know...its too dark to see." Aedan replied as he too looked around. Vines and weeds were covering the moist, wet, and cracked walls. The only thing that was different was that the water was red, as if blood clouded it.

   "Hmmmm...anyone have any bandages?" Francesco asked as he rolled up his shorts showing the wound.

   "Oh my god what happend?!" Riley asked as she searched her pockets.

   "Its nothing. I just fell..." Franchesco lied trying not to make Aedan mad and burn down the whole maze.

   "Oh got one!" Riley screamed out. Riley wrapped the bandage around Francesco's leg.

   "Thanks." Franchesco sighed as Riley tied the bandage.

   "No problem." Riley said back as she almost gagged at the blood. Suddenly they heard metal screech in front of them. They soon realized that there was an evil creature lurking in the sewers and that they might die.

         "Welcome, welcome." A low voice rumbles across the empty, dark sewers. "I see I have caught you ALL" Suddenly they all see yellow eyes in front of them. ( Like so ) Aedan, Riley, Tyler, and Franchesco widen their eyes, even though they could barely see anything in the sewers. It also looked like some sort of monster.. But they couldn't entirely see what it was.

   "Just a quick question before I tie you all up. What are all of your fears? One by one now." The voice implored. Luckily their mouths weren't shut, so they could actually speak. "You first." The figure pointed to Aedan. Aedan couldnt help but talking. It was like Deadsmile  was hypnotizing him. It was going left to right. Aedan, Riley, Franchesco, and Tyler.

    "S-spiders" Aedan quivered in fear.

   "What else?" Demanded the voice.

   "Um.. heights, the dark, and unknown noises." He stuttered. "Very well then." Says the voice.

   "Your turn" It says, pointing to Riley. Riley squealing, not knowing that it was her turn to speak. "Heights... The dark.. Clowns.. Any type of bug..." She whimpered. The figure nodded.

   "Oh yeah... And by the way.. My name is Deadsmile.  Deadsmile the smiling clown" Deadsmile creepily said, while smiling. Yeah, it must be creepy meeting a clown (especially named Deadsmile.) In the sewers, on who knows what time, getting captured, right? Deadsmile pointed to Francesco.

   "You." He mutters. Franchesco shivers.

   "Tight spaces..." He stutters.

   "That's it?!?" Deadsmile replies. Francesco nodded.

   "You must be scared of the sewer.. Right?" Deadsmile says.  "Nah." Franchesco jeered. The clown shook his head in despair.

    "And lastly, you. Little boy. A very skinny one." Deadsmile points at Tyler hungrily. "Um.. The dark.. Clowns sorta. And deep waters.." Tyler whimpers.

   "Very well then." Deadsmile replies. "Now i will tie you All  up."

   Deadsmile swiftly ties them all up with a brittle rope. They were also tied to chairs that magically appeared somehow. They clown was almost... Magic.. Deadsmile left them there. To go to the other end of the sewer.

   "Who knows what is gonna happen to us with this crazy clown." Aedan whispers. They all nod. "Yeah." Riley, Tyler, and Francesco say in unison.
